In your dreams" he laughed "Finral send this old woman and the kid to the village and come back for Gauche" iris strictes taking down the dome "alright!" Finral said "and make sure you come back" Yami said glaring at Finral "we'll, I'm a little bit low on mana so, really I'm not kidding" Finral said turning to his captain "yea? Look at my face dies it look like I'm kidding?" Yami asked scaring the boy.
"Yami is actually amazing, to think I always insulted him" Iris said amazed as she watched Yami fight "you'll still continue to insult him wouldn't you?" Aura asked "nothing will stop me" Iris said as Yami dragged Asta into the fight.
"Forgive me! Armor magic: adamantine armor!" Iris said getting in front of Yami and Asta as a giant shield appeared in front of them.

"Thanks iris!" Asta said as she protected them "hah, he's not holding anything back!" Yami laughed "watch out!" Asta said as a giant rock fell of them. "Thanks for protecting us She-devil" yami laughed putting iris shoulder "shut up! My armor is broken! How am I supposed to fix it? This is my first time" Iris said as her armor shattered "don't blame me, I didn't make all the rocks fall down...here we go, time to kick it up a notch and take down that white haired guy with the weird dots on his face" yami said pointing his sword at the two men "I'll take the leader" Iris said opening his grimoire.
"No way he's mine, I'll show you what a magic knight captain can do, Asta you take skinny bones line face over there alright and she-devil you sit here and look pretty" Yami said getting in fighting stance "he calls me a she-devil but he fights like a demon" Iris said sweat dropping "but they're amazing" Aura said amazed.
"Dark magic: black cacoon" yami said as a field protected the three "what kind of spell is this?" Asta asked "went into defence mode to buy us some time, of course we're probably still gonna die, hey she-devil how's that armor of you? That could probably protect us right now" Yami asked "it's broken and stop calling me a devil!" Iris yelled before the man attacked "your magic might be fast and powerful but mirror deflects light" Gauche said deflecting the attack "how are we still alive?" Asta asked shocked.
"My mirror magic reflected his attack, I didn't see it hit the smug bastard but there's no way he could have dodged it" Gauche said breathing heavily "does that mean we can go back?" Iris asked standing up "Finral send me back to Marie" Gauche said getting a nose bleed "I told you I only had one more spell in me, nobody's leaving this cave until my magic recovered" Finral said as Gauche, Yami and iris let out an annoyed tch "don't 'tch' me!" Finral yelled.
"So much for that super powerful spell of yours line face, guess your magic has more than one natural enemy" Yami said walking up to licht "I'm sorry, I should never have hurt you" Licht said staring at Gauche "you know this guy? You should have told me or I never would have hurt him" Yami said "I don't know this monster" Gauche said "one day you'll understand" Licht said laying his head down "I don't think I'll understand you and your little minions but well be healing you back to headquarters anyway, you can tell us all about the eye of the midnight sun when we get there. At last the king of overly serious people have been avenged, may he rest in peace now" Yami said clapping his hands together before iris slapped him across the head "Fuegoleon is not dead!" She yelled walking to licht and picking up his grimoire.
"Yawn, can we get outta here already?" Yami asked yawning "no we'll have to wait a little bit longer" Finral said "Finral you're quite useless at times" Iris said flipping through the pages of licht grimoire "but I'm your superior" he whined "what are you doing she-devil?" Yami asked "call me devil again and I'll add more injuries" she said irritated "ah, that's a lot of mana" Yami said getting up "who are they?" Finral asked "more enemies" Yami said before one of the men appeared in front of him.
"Another light user?" Iris asked as the man healed himself "you insects do you know what we do to people who harm our friends? ill show you when I'm finished your limbs will be torn from your body like wings plucked off from a butterfly" a beast like man said angrily "calm yourselves you fools" A red haired woman said appearing in the room "Irene" Licht said as the pink haired girl healed him "look at the state of you licht, you should have just called for help using Valtos" the woman said walking to the man "wow look at her body" Finral said blushing unable to see the woman's face due to her witch hat.

"Where is your grimoire?" Irene asked "who are these people exactly?" Asta asked "I'll introduce you, these four are the strongest members of the midnight sun, their power surpasses my own especially in battle" Licht said "especially Irene, she's scary" the black haired man said scratching his head "you didn't answer my question licht, where's your grimoire?" Irene asked "it's with the white haired girl" licht said as Irene turned to iris and soon attacked her pinning her to the wall.
"Iris!" Asta said alarmed "gasp!" Iris coughed up "pay attention!" The beast man said attacking the men "focus on your battle, armor magic: heavens wheel armor; ready scattered petals!" Iris said as a hundred swords attacked the people "hey lemme borrow one of these!" Yami said grabbing one of iris swords "...why are you familiar to me?" Irene asked turning to iris "you're attacks are quite heavy, ow" Iris said getting on one knee injured noticing the woman's face "no it can't be" Irene said staring at her before three squad captains joined the fight.
"Ah, you okay Yami?" Iris asked turning to her captain "ah she-devil you're alive" yami said before a sword was thrown inches away from his crotch "call me that again and I wouldn't miss next time, ow" she said grabbing her hand "let us get out of here licht" Irene said walking away "hey! Don't run away from me! Are you scared I'll beat you?!" Iris yelled "you're badly hurt don't antagonise the enemy!" Aura yelled "a light spirit?" Licht and Irene both said facing aura "I mean, forget I'm here" aura said before disappearing "dumb spirit" Iris said as Nozel walked up to her "I would have thought you could handle these guys with how much talk you were doing back at the banquet" Nozel said staring down on her.
"Today is a good day even now, don't ruin it" Iris said irritated as he blushed "tch, seems like the she-devil is doing fine" Yami mumbled "I'm hurt not deaf!" Iris yelled angrily "and stop calling me Devil!" She added.
A day later
"What are you dunderheads doing?" Iris asked entering the dining hall to see her team partaking in an eating contest "eating contest" Yami said passing smoke as he watched "pfft" iris laughed watching her team eat. "That crest, it's a letter from the royal capital did something happen?" Asta asked as an owl entered the room "stop yapping would you, yes it's from the capital looks like the wizard kings asking for you, the squad captain is having a meeting tomorrow and he said I should drag you along too" Yami said reading the letter "hmm, I wonder what I'll do with my free time tomorrow" Iris said before yami pulled her back "you're coming too she-demon I like she-devil better" he said.
