Meeting old friends

"Finding a good forger is the one problem I have today" Iris said walking through the market place with groceries in her hand "what do you need it for? Don't you use magic you don't need no protection from metal scrap" Aura said before someone interrupted them "hmm? It's you again!" A woman said running up to her "do I know you?" Iris asked turning to face her "I guess it has been a while since we last met, the names Shira my grandfather is Nobe the old goat who refused to sell you that armor set" Shira said reminding her.

"Oh, I still need that armor" Iris said "yea well I don't think he'll ever sell it and to a woman non the less...anyways are you doing your shopping?" Shira asked changing the subject "I also need to find a place with a good armor forger" iris said "can't you just buy an armor?" "I need special armor that fits my body and magic, that's why I have to get mine made by a magic forger not a normal one" iris explained "oh, I know this one guy that's really good I'll give you his shop address and tell him I sent you" Shira said getting out a piece of paper.

"This must be the place that girl was talking about" Iris said standing in front of a small shop "her name was Shira, do you have some sort of short memory we're you can't remember names?" Aura asked "I remember people's faces very well, I just forget the names of people who don't have that great an impact in my life, take yourself as an example I don't remember your name" iris said shrugging "it's Aura!" Aura yelled angrily "I do hope you remember my name at least" a familiar voice said towering above her at the same time alarming her.

"Sigh, you scared me" iris said breathing out a sigh of relief 'I almost killed you there' she thought "where's your little friend?" Fuegoleon asked looking around "she's nowhere" Aura said "oh shut it, he saw and heard you you should be past the point of getting scared" iris said as the spirit revealed herself "I'm glad you were able to remember me after all I'm not too sure I made a great impact on your life" Fuegoleon said "yea well, your a noble and the captain of the crimson lions, anyways if you don't excuse me sir I have some business to take care of" iris said walking into the shop as he tailed behind her.

"How can I help you?" A man in his mid 40s asked as the three entered the shop "I need a few armors and swords created I have reference pictures of what I need and I would like you to follow it to the last detail" Iris said taking out her grimoire "those are some pretty sketches, did you draw them yourself?" Fuegoleon asked flipping through the pages "I did not, these are my spells and in order for them to be as effective as they should I need them to take physical form and with that I needed a magic forger" Iris said handing the shop owner her grimoire.

"I don't know if I can do it, the materials needed here are very specific and they're all time consuming it could take months" the man said "I have all the materials you need and as for time take as much time as you need" she said taking out a bag of different raw materials "...fine I'll do it" the man said taking the bag and grimoire to his workspace "now that that's over with I should go back and check on Asta" Iris said leaving the shop with Fuegoleon still with her.

"Do you want me to walk you home?" He asked "thank you for the offer Sir but I have a friend that's coming to get me through portal magic" she said "I thought I told you to stop calling me Sir, using my first name is more appropriate since we're friends and all" he said "...that's a bit creepy" she said walking away "I hope we can meet again later this week" he said following after her "maybe not this week, I'm busy" iris said as a portal opened in front of here "iris, we were supposed to meet up an hour ago now captain Yami is on my back asking where you went" Finral said bowing to Fuegoleon "he acts like he doesn't disappear for hours just to nap or use the bathroom, anyways I'll see you sometime" iris said waving Fuegoleon off before entering the portal with her squad mate.

A week later

"Yami dear" iris said walking into the cafeteria where their captain and the other squad members were sitting "Urk I hate it when you call me that" Yami said sweat dropping "I found all these paperwork and many more in your office, get this it was pulled up to the ceiling I didn't see the table" Iris said slamming the papers on the table "I'm not doing em" yami said passing smoking from his mouth "surprisingly I don't expect you to, Good to see that your awake Asta" Iris said ruffing his hair.

"Anyways, knights headquarters wants a report of the dungeon asap so if you can walk your going" Yami said "the incident was a week ago why is it now they need an incident report?" Iris asked "I don't know they're weird, I know that look on your face and it means trouble no way your going" Yami said as Luck whined "I'm sending you out on a battle mission instead with Magna to babysit" he said exciting Luck.

"Hey sir you can send me I don't mind going, just think of all the delectable treats the noble realm has to offer" Charmy said "don't take this the wrong way but why the heck will I send you? All you do is sit around eating all day" Yami said shocking Charmy "like your one to talk, all you do is sleep your life is basically in the bathroom" Iris said "and that's why your going, to get you outta my ass for a couple hours" Yami said laughing "one of the many reasons you'll die lonely" Iris mumbled.
