so i don't usually do these but i feel like i should explain before anyone goes into this book with any preconceptions.

i know sunshine loosely followed the plot of the walking dead but this book will be slightly different.

obviously carl died so the entire plot after season 9 would entail a shit ton of creative deep work involving watching that show an insane amount of time. while writing sunshine i literally read the script to make it accurate i was insane.

so this book will follow some of the plot but not all of it, it's gonna be more of a ya book filled with walking dead plot if that makes sense.

i still plan on adding major things like the whispers and other things but i may model the comics for those things because those plots are so much better than the show (imo don't hunt me down). meaning more oc's and more plot not surrounding the walking dead universe.

Also I've been re reading sunshine and will definitely start editing that as I release and write chapters. the ending was rushed and i have too many plot holes and discrepancies to not fix it.

In this book it's more focused on the flaws within Carl and Thalias relationship. It's gonna sound so batshit weird crazy but gilmore girls is a big draw for me of true personality in people and how the perception can be misconstrued.

I like that sort of thinking when writing about characters because humans have flaws of course and it's good to reflect that in books. Hence the fights and bickering because they're teenagers, regardless of circumstance or growing up too fast.

The problems this book will start to become more transparent, meaning they drag out for periods to time because things in the universe (or whatever your perspective of the situation is).

For this to happen there needs to be incidents leading up to the big fights, meaning small fights about the topic that are less vague until the blow up.

Because this is a book I'm not gonna force you guys to read 15 filled chapter before resolution because personally i get bored and ditch it only to read it randomly 5 months later.

So just a little tidbit about my writing style and explaining what is to come (:

also reminder that the timeline in these books are more similar to the comic outline where it started in 2010(show) but it's been 10-11 years since the start instead of 3(the show was batshit crazy for that one)

so in this book Thalia, Carl, and Justice are roughly 17-18-19, Lucas is 24-25-26, and Bailey is like 17, so fun time!

There is a time skip to initiate the start of the season 9 conflict with the whispers so it'll be clean and not too wonky.

okay enjoy now.
