Third Person, Omniscient"Let me see your hands, hold them out," Bailey crossed his legs discarding the book in his lap and taking her hands in his own.
The boy held them up to his eyes glancing over the small cuts on her pad hands, "You can see the damage from the water, did any fall off?"
Thalia grimaced pulling her hands away and shoving them back into her pocket, behind her the other chuckled his arm tightening around her stomach.
"I don't know I was too busy being filled with water," she snapped rolling her eyes as he pulled her hand away.
Looking across the room she saw Lily propped up on the couch kicking her feet as she talked to Justice frantically, the group had settled in her room earlier this morning.
Generously they left the pair alone for the night but came bright and early the next day with breakfast and shouts, it was a rude awakening least to say.
After lots of convincing Carl let the girl share a blunt with Lily, managing to sneak in a few more hits when he left to gather water and more food.
"When do we get to hear the full story?" Justice hummed taking a handful of peanuts from the jar and tossing them in his mouth.
Turning around to look at the boy she spoke, "I don't even know the whole story, just the beginning bits and when they found me."
Lily perked up sliding off the couch and sitting across from the pair, hands folded into her lap as she grinned.
Beside her Bailey and Justice were sitting with crossed legs, sharing the jar of peanuts as they glanced at the girl.
"Grimes you good for this?"
Carl pulled the girl closer to his chest intertwining their fingers as he nodded.
"Okay, so the whole ordeal was we find some alcohol and go to the beach early like two a.m, of course, it wasn't a lot but we finished the rest bottle. And we're all stumbling stupid drunks. While we were drunk Davidson snuck off to use the bathroom, mind you it was extremely dark. Are you all following?" she paused looking around as they all nodded.
"Okay well I did go use the bathroom, but I saw a cliff and got distracted," Thalia hummed eyes narrowed down onto her fingers.
"It was a long cliff but the edge was ragged and crumbling, I slipped trying to get up and fell in. Pretty sure I got this mark from falling," she paused pulling her sleeve up to reveal the long scar on the back of her arm.
"How long until you got knocked out?" Bailey whispered, it was strange to hear his words so quiet and thought out.
"Five minutes maybe, the waves were too frequent for me to get out of them."
