Chapter 18

Tae: "Do you want me to drive?"

Jimin: "huh? What?"

Tae: "wha-...*sighs* Are you not feeling well?"

Jimin: "No, I am fine.."

Tae: "Then..drive the car.."

Jimin: "o-oh yeah..sorry.." *he said starting the engine and driving away*

Tae: "where are you lost? Did something happen?"

Jimin: "..I- *sighs* I wanna tell you this but.."

Tae: "Just say it... I'm listening.."

Jimin: "okay..but let me ask you something first.."

Tae: "sure, go ahead.."

Jimin: "I know this is sudden but...Do you like Yn?" *Tae was taken a back by the question and soon a perplexed expression took over his face. Why was he asking Tae this? And why now? This is what he was thinking for so long. Is he insecure or something?*

Tae: "why are you asking this?"

Jimin: "Answer me first."

Tae: "Jimin you-.....I know you like her..Do you think I'll fell for her even after knowing this.."

Jimin: "I know but...noone can control their emotions and feelings for others especially love.."

Tae: "No, I don't like her.." *he answered quickly without thinking twice. Maybe because he never thought of it. You were just a good friend to him, whom he likes to mess around with. He never saw you as more than friends. Nayeon is the one he likes. While admiring Nayeon you were never a part of it. Never caught his attention like nayeon did. He liked you, respected you, cared for you as a friend. He knew since long that Jimin likes you. As his bestfriend Jimin has told him about this. It was also a reason he never thought of you in that way but little did he know that their was something growing in his heart for you.*

Tae: "Now tell me what made you think like that.."

Jimin: "Today.." *he tells the incident of his confession on the rooftop.*

Tae: "What?! I thought she like you too!!"

Jimin: "she doesn't.."

Tae: but..why she didn't even give you a chance you both know each other for so long-"

Jimin: "She likes someone else.."

Tae: "..huh? She likes someone? She never told me about him..I didn't see her with someone new too.."

Jimin: "It can be like she likes him from a long time or maybe.."

Tae: "maybe?"

Jimin: "It's someone from our group.."

Tae: "Our group? Umm I don't think so everyone treats her like a sister..hobi hyung, yoongi hyung, jungkook, all look at her if she's their own sister. And she also looks at them like they are her own brothers.."

Jimin: "I know I wasn't talking about them. You are missing someone."

Tae: "her brothers?"

Jimin: "No, you stupid!"

Tae: "Then only you are remaining but she doesn't like you.. It's not someone from our group then.." *Jimin sighed hearing him he wasn't getting his hints that he's talking about Taehyung*

Tae: "No worries bro.. You're good looking, charming, kind, cute and many more. You have all the qualities that a woman will look for in a man. You will get someone soon..I can say it from my intuitions.." *he said to lighter the atmosphere seeing his dull face. No one would like their friend to be gloomy. He succeeded when a small chuckle left jimin's mouth*

Jimin: "You are trying to distract me from those thoughts, aren't you?"

Tae: "well..what can I say?"

Jimin: "thank you Tae.."

Tae: "okay okay stop the car." *he said seeing his house infront of him. He came out of the car and Jimin did the same walking towards him, he engulfed him in a brotherly hug. Tae hugged him back and soon they broke the hug*

Tae: "Don't be sad over it okay! I'll find you a nice girl soon.."

Jimin: *chuckles* "you're talking like a mother finding a girl for his son's marriage.."

Tae: *laughs* "Yah! I'm younger than you and not at all like a mother!"
*They both laughed again and soon parted their ways after bidding goodbye. Tae was a little relaxed seeing him happy a little.*

Yn's house

*You three entered the house together after coming from college. You walked lazily to the couch and sat down, feeling exhausting you rest your head at the back and closed your eyes for few minutes. Namjoon went up to freshen up, he didn't notice anything weird in your behaviour but Jin did. He wanted to ask you where you were when you suddenly disappeared from the cafeteria but let it go. He also noticed the change in your behaviour in class and also while coming back to home. He knew you were hiding something from the start. He knows something is going on which he isn't aware about. He was worried about you from the start but held himself back thinking you don't want him to know about it or maybe something you can't share. He let it go. But it was too much now. He wants to know the matter. What's bothering you for so long? He thought. Days after days, he noticed your change in behaviour everytime. He wanted to confront you and ask about it. He was battling with the thoughts in his mind when he heard a voice from behind. You both turned around to see Taehyung standing at the main door..*

Jin: "Tae? All of a sudden? Do you need something?"

Tae: "No. Actually I'm here to return Yn's book."
*He came forward walking towards you, he streched out his hand holding his book signalling you to take it, which you did.*

Tae: "Thanks for it. I forgot to give it back.."

Yn: "No worries.." *you passed a small smile which he returned and looked back at Jin, the smile still on his face*

Jin: "uhh..what?"

Tae: "I wanna talk to her."

Jin: *laughs* "oh..you don't need my permission for it.. ofcourse you can talk.."

Tae: "I wasn't asking you for permission.." *Jin's laugh faded and he gave him a confused look*

Tae: "I wanna talk in private..you know? Alone?.."

Jin: *scoffs* "whatever...I don't even wanna be here.."

Tae: "No wait. You can stay here....Yn? Can we go to your room, please?"

Yn: "uhm..yeah..ok.."
*Jin raised his eyebrow in suspicion*

Jin: "well..why in the room?.."

Tae: "Do you understand the word, PRIVATE?"

Jin: "So you can't tell me?"

Tae: "exactly.."

Jin: "No, I won't allow you alone with her in a room."

Tae: "why not?"

Jin: "Because....my wish!"

Tae: *he rolled his eyes at him and took your hand in his, walking towards the stairs when Jin came in between*

Jin: "Yah! Leave her hand! I told you! You can't go in the room.."

Tae: *sighs* "listen...I ain't gonna do anything with your sister. I just wanna talk to her. Pls trust me. I won't do anything.."

Jin: "okay, go."
