Chapter 9: A New Morning

The next day after waking up, I looked at the alarm clock and saw that it was already twelve thirty. Jungkook still had his arms wrapped around me, making me smile as I turned my head as much as I could to see that he was still asleep. I carefully moved his arms off of me, even though I really didn't want too. (I would rather stay here all day if I could), I moved slowly and quietly, trying not to wake him up as I slipped out of bed.

Because I was still naked from last nights events, I had put my pajamas I had threw to the floor back on before making my way downstairs. I found the other members were there in the kitchen preparing for lunch and a delicious smell filled my nostrils. Must be Jin's doing, I thought to myself. Even though his words had hurt me last night, I tried to let it not bother me as today was a new day. I especially wasn't going to hold any grudges on Jin since he was the main cook of the house.

Jimin, Taehyung, Hoseok were busy doing different tasks to help set up lunch and Yoongi sat at the table reading a book. But once they noticed me enter the room, everything became silent as they all stared at me.

"Well, well... What do we have here?" Jimin was the first to react of course, a mischievous grin spreading across his face as he teased me. I couldn't help but blush at the reaction.

"Um... good morning..." I stuttered, not really sure what else to do or say. Taehyung and Hoseok looked at each other, trying their best to hide their smiles and giggles. Children.

"Good morning indeed." Taehyung chuckled as he leaned his elbows against the counter, his eyes were light with amusement. I stared him down, knowing that they knew something was up. Jin had then walked upstairs from checking up Namjoon in the medical lab, from what Jimin had whispered to me. His eyebrows were knitted in confusion, surveying what was going on around him.

"What has got every one in such a good mood?"

"Oh nothing, Jin Hyung. Just a little romance is in the air is all." Jimin grinned. I slapped him on the back of his head, trying to get him to shut up. God this was embarrassing.

"Well, as long as it doesn't interfere with lunch. I'm starving." Jin stated.

Everyone was silent as we watched as Jungkook finally made his way down the stairs. He had his pants on, but for some reason, he decided to stay shirtless, making me blush even more.

"Jungkook, we're about to have lunch, put something on please." Jin said with a stern tone. Jungkook then rolled his eyes before grabbing a shirt that was over the railing somehow and put it on, making me smirk. As I stood on the other side of the island counter watching everyone, I felt an arm slip around my waist, making me jump in surprise, clearly not bothered by the teasing.

"Hello everyone." Jungkook said as he kissed the top of my head.

But in that moment, it felt like the world had stopped. Everyone had turned to us in that moment, making Jungkook and I freeze on the spot. Jungkook immediately pulled away from me, realizing what he had just done, but I couldn't help but chuckle as I watched as Jungkook's face turned into a bright shade of red.

"Did anyone else just see what happened?" Hoseok stated, his eyes widened at the scene. Yoongi then reach over, since he was in his reach, slapped Hoseok on the arm and seeing that side of Yoongi actually made me giggle at his action. I cleared my throat before speaking up.

"So um... what's for lunch?"

As the rest of the day went on, Jungkook had given me affection every once in a while. We held hands, shared smiles and stole kisses when the other members weren't looking. Thought however, I could see from the corner of my eye, every time Yoongi would be staring me down. His demeanor showing annoyance. Every time Jungkook and I were near, Yoongi wouldn't look at us. It was strange. I know he didn't like me, that was a fact. But when he wouldn't look Jungkook's way is what confused me.
