Chapter 24: Lilly and Sehun

Late that night, Lilly woke up with a cold sweat, her chest rising up and down quickly, her heart beating quickly. The nightmare was still fresh in her mind as she threw the covers off of her body. She started to sob, not knowing how to control her panic which was causing the other members of the household to hear her cries. She didn't have nightmares that often, but when she did, it was terrifying to her. But it involved her and the rest of the boys, which really hurt her heart because it felt so real. She could hear footsteps running towards her room, which were coming closer and closer.

The door swung open, revealing Jin as he quickly made his way towards her. Lilly looked up at him, her eyes were already red from crying and she couldn't find a way to stop. He had a look of worry and concern on his face as he pulled her in for a hug.

"Hey, hey. It's ok, it's ok... it was just a bad dream." Jin whispered in to her ear, rubbing her back as he tried to comfort her.

He used his other hand to pet her hair. She used both of her hands to rub away the tears, the edges of her eyes turning a shade of red from the rubbing. Lilly shook her head, not believing what Jin was saying, even though he was just trying to help.

"No! It felt so real Jin! They killed all of you, everyone! All because of me." She was speaking in between her sobs, her voice muffled since she then turned into Jin's chest, her face pressed into it. She was shaking and trembling from her nightmare.

"Shhh. It's ok. Please don't cry. I promise you that is not going to happen. With the help of EXO, we will be stronger than them." Jin let go of her, bending down so that he was at her level as she sat up in bed. With a sweet gesture, he whipped away her tears with his thumbs.

"Thanks Jin." She said, finally starting to calm down. She whipped her nose with her sleeve of her shirt, giving Jin a small smile.

"Try to get some sleep, you're going to need the energy for tonight." He smiled as she slowly and hesitantly laid back down, afraid to go back to sleep if she was going to have another nightmare. She closed her eyes, trying to go back to sleep. Jin turned off the light, closing the door quietly behind him. He walked downstairs into the living room, seeing some of the members there as they couldn't go to sleep after hearing Lilly's outburst.

"Is she ok?" Namjoon asked, concerned for her.

"She will be. She had a bad dream because of what is going to happen. I think she's just really worried."

"I'll check on her later. She probably doesn't feel comfortable with telling us what happened in her dream." Taehyung stated.

"Yeah, probably. You can probably go ahead and talk to her later in the morning." Jin stated. Taehyung nodded his head in agreement.

When Lilly woke up again later on in the morning, around 11am, she sighed. She was grateful she didn't have another nightmare that would keep her up the rest of the night. But thankfully, it was the next day as she came downstairs for breakfast. There was a knock on her door, which she answered with a small 'come in.'

"Lilly?" Taehyung asked, poking his head through the door.

"Are you ok?" He asked as he fully came into the room. He sat next to her as she sat with her legs crossed. He placed a hand on her leg in comfort.

"Are you ok? Jin told us you had a nightmare." Her eyes started to well up again and she had a frown on her face. He didn't want her to push herself but he wanted to know so he could help her in anyway.

"I'm just... scared Tae. Really scared. What if they get ahold of us? What if they... torture us? Like they did with Y/N? Or even worse..."

"I promise you Lilly. That's not going to happen. I will make sure nothing happens to you." His eyes were locked on hers, making her know that he was fully on her side, along with Jimin.

"You really mean that?"

"Yes. You're our responsibility now as well. I promise I won't let anything bad happen to you."

"Thank you." She said with a small smile.

"Come, join us for breakfast. You're going to need to eat and get ready for tonight."

Taehyung walked back downstairs into the kitchen to where the rest of the members were, including the members of EXO. They were all around the kitchen table with extra members so they added some pillows and extra chairs to fit all of them at the table, including Lilly. Lilly was the last to walk in downstairs, feeling somewhat nervous as all eyes were on her. Is this what Y/N felt when she first came here? Was she nervous, scared, maybe even terrified? She knew she had to ask her about how she felt when she was first here. But now with another one of her favorite groups, she felt extremely intimidated.

She took Y/N's previous seat, sitting across from Jungkook's left as he sat at the head of the table and Sehun sat across from her. She felt extremely nervous as she took a bite of an egg, staring down at her plate and trying not to look up.

"So Sehun... this is Y/N's cousin, Lilly. I believe, she told me, that you are her bias." Jungkook said after taking a bite of bacon. The other members were talking, thankfully, not hearing the three of their conversation. Lilly looked up, surprised Jungkook remembered her favor. When Sehun looked directly at her this time, she blushed a deep shade of red. She didn't know what to do.

"Hi... Yeah, I'm Lilly." She tried to sound confident, but her voice was shaking slightly.

"Hi Lilly, nice to meet you. How long have you been with the boys?" Sehun asked, trying to make conversation and to get Lilly not to panic.

"Only a few days now." She said, looking back down as she played with her eggs. She didn't dare look up at Sehun or Jungkook.

"I see. So you are probably just getting to know the members then." Sehun smiled as he leaned back in his chair, smiling.

"Yeah."

"Do you know how long Y/N has been with the boys?" He asked, curious.

"Um... I would say probably around a few months or so I believe."

"Have they treated her well?"

"I would say so. She seemed so happy when she was here." Lilly put a small smile on her face, remembering how Y/N would act around the members, especially Jungkook since they had seemed to be so close to one another.

"That's good. She is definitely with a great group." Sehun stated, complimenting the BTS members. Hearing this, Jungkook smiled, knowing that even though EXO was an amazing group as well, they looked at the younger members with pride.

"Thanks. They really are a great group." Lilly looked up this time, but over at Jungkook, smiling. Jungkook nodded towards her, appreciating the compliment and reassurance.

"You're staying here with them right?"

"Yeah, I'm going to be with them until everything blows over." Lilly stated, finally taking a bite of her eggs. Her hunger was coming back as she realized the rest of the boys at the table were almost done with their own breakfasts.

"Good, I'm glad. With you staying here, you will have all of the protection and support that you will need. We have to be prepared for anything, especially with what happened to Y/N."

"I know, I'm just worried about her, truly."

"That's totally normal. You have nothing to worry about ok? We're going to have her back in no time." Sehun said, giving a comforting smile. One, that almost reminded her of Taehyung's smile.

"Thanks." Lilly couldn't help but blush again at the thought of Sehun smiling at her, making him chuckle.

"Sehun is right, Lilly. We're going to have Y/N back, no matter what it takes."
