Chapter 16: The Reunion

The next morning, I helped Jungkook clean up the mess that we had made with the sheets the other night and in my head, I wondered how Jimin and Taehyung would handle the news of what I have done last night, making me smirk. I couldn't wait to hear their reactions.

After breakfast with the other members, they all seemed to be suspicious of the way Jungkook and I were acting towards each other, but we brushed it off. Jungkook instructed a bunch of the other members to go on a mission for us to have some alone time in the hideout by ourselves, which I wasn't expecting. We were cuddled under a blanket, watching a movie with the lights dimmed and the blinds drawn so we could see the TV better since it was only 1:30 in the afternoon. I jumped slightly as I felt Jungkook's hot breath come towards my ear as he placed his arm around my shoulders.

"Y/N... I was thinking... How about we bring your cousin Lilly here? I have a feeling that you miss her."

I was genuinely surprised, pausing the movie and turning towards him. I haven't seen Lilly in about a few months, the whole time that I had been in the hideout with the rest of the members. I nodded in excitement, my heart racing at the thought of her coming here. I was surprised he even remembered her.

"Holy shit, Jungkook really?! I honestly thought you have forgotten about her." I shook my head, trying to process his statement.

"I may not be smart as Namjoon, but being the leader of this mafia, I have to remember everything, including the little things that matter to you." His bunny smile was showing, which made me giggle. He always looked so cute when he smiled and I wish he did it more often.

"They don't call you the golden maknae for nothing, right?" I asked, as to which he nodded his head in return.

"When the other boys come back, I'll let them know about our decision over dinner." I pecked his lips, letting out a squeal and kicking my legs out of excitement. I couldn't believe Lilly was going to be coming!

It was before dinner time that the boys came back, Jimin, Taehyung and now even Hoseok, greeted me with open arms and smiles. Jungkook helped Jin with dinner, which was such a surprise to not just me, but to the other boys. Even Jimin was shocked as he leaned into me as we watched from the living room.

"That never happens... at least, it used to when he was younger, around sixteen or seventeen... but he hasn't cooked since. What has gotten into him?" Jimin asked and I couldn't help but giggle. I just shrugged my shoulders, pretending not to know what would cause this.

But if I was the reason, I couldn't help but smile. It was nice to see Jungkook helping out and Jin seemed genuinely happy that he was cooking again as well. Once dinner was served, I sat next to Jungkook in my new spot next to him on the right side. I grabbed his hand underneath the table, my nerves building up inside of me wondering what the other boys would think. Jungkook cleared his throat loudly, bringing everyone else's attention towards him.

"I was thinking, as to reward Y/N with her recently good behavior, that I should invite her cousin Lilly over. She is the only family Y/N has and she trusts her. If she trusts her, I am willing to find that trust within her as well."

Hearing Jungkook's words made me smile at his kindness, something he rarely showed these days and it was nice to see for once. All the members fell so silent, you could probably hear a pin drop. Some members had concerned faces though, wondering if this was a good idea. Especially Yoongi who narrowed his eyebrows, his eyes crossed as he leaned forward so that he got a better look of Jungkook from the other side of the table.

"Bringing an outsider to our hideout JK? Have you thought about this at all?" My heart sunk at his words... I had to speak up for myself, I couldn't let Yoongi destroy my chance of letting me reunite with my cousin. Taking a deep breath, I stood up, surprising everyone, especially Jimin and Taehyung who had wide eyes.
