I miss you
The talks we used to have
The jokes we used to share
If only I knewIt's my fault.
I became complacent
I assumed your situation
Was as steady as mine
I'm sorry for assuming
Didn't mean to cross any linesI'm here for you
Whatever it is that's torturing you
I've got you
Through thick and through thin
I promised you
I promised I'd be there
From start to finI hope you see this
So you can hear what's in my head
I miss you
Even as I lay here in my bed
I worry
That sentiment still stands
I meant everything I saidI'll be here when you're ready
When you've had a chance to breathe
I just hope you'll still accept me
I hate this in betweenI wanna hug you
Tell you everything's alright
I still dream of you
Your smile always shines so brightI want to help
I just don't know how
Sometimes I've got to learn
That I'm not needed nowBut I'll be here when I am
I'll be as patient as I can
I'll support you when you're ready
So I hope you'll take my hand. You've got this
I know you're very strong
If not I wouldn't be here
I wouldn't have stayed around
Too longI hope your words still stand
That your promises hold true
I want to be you're friend
I hope you feel the same way too(I hope you see this. You know who you are)
