- Elena's POV -

It's been a few days since I found out that the guy from the club is here, in the home too, and that his name is Jake Benson. And that he put Ashton in hospital. And, that he's the most dangerous person in this place... I feel someone tap my shoulder, breaking me out of my daydream. "You okay?" Calum asks.
"Huh? Oh, yeah!" I smile, "what are we meant to be doing today?"
"Well considering the inspection guys didn't come the other day, the staff are all preparing today for them coming tomorrow instead. So we have another free day." Calum winks.
"That sounds fun!" I kiss his cheek, "the others should be in my room, so you can go and wait for me there. I'm just gonna run to the bathroom real quick!" I give him a quick kiss and race off to the bathroom.

Once I've finished, I walk out of the door, only to bump into someone. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sor-" I stop, my heart beating faster. "Well hello there!" Jake gives me a disgusting smile. I try walking away, but he grabs my arm and pulls me back, slamming me against the wall. "We didn't get to finish what we started back at the club that night," he smirks, caressing my arm.
"We didn't start anything. You assaulted me!" I defend. He shoves me, making me groan.
"No, I didn't assault you, beautiful. You wanted me." He purrs in my ear. Oh god. Please don't do anything, please, please, please! "Just get off me, Jake, I've got somewhere to be." I push him off me and start walking down the hall.

His arms snake around my waist. "Let go!" I struggle in his grip, just like I did at the club that night. He grabs my ass, squeezing it a little. I squirm, my heart pounding. He can't do this, I don't want anything happening again. His lips touch my neck and I whimper. Why is this happening to me?! "Just let go!" I beg, fear consuming me.
"We can have some fun together first! You can come back to my room if you like!" Jake taunts.
"No! I want to go back to Calum!" I cower.
"Calum it is!" He purrs in my ear again. I feel so sick in his grip, just like I did with my stepdad. He keeps his arms around my waist as we walk back to my room and I can't get out of them.

"Get off!" I shout. He doesn't listen. We're pretty much outside of my room. Jake spins me around and kisses me, grabbing me again. "P-please, just let go of me," I whisper, tears sliding down my cheeks. He keeps me against the wall while he kisses my neck. "Please!" I sob loudly. He chuckles and strokes my hair, tucking a piece behind my ear. No staff can see this because they're too busy in their rooms trying to organise for a stupid inspection. "You're gorgeous. Let's go back to my room now." He smirks evilly, grabbing my ass again whilst kissing my neck. I whimper. "GET OFF HER!" Calum's voice stops Jake. He pulls me into him by my waist again.

"Calum, help me." I whisper, crying. Luke, Ashton and Michael are standing behind Calum, looking ready to fight Jake. "He can't do anything, sweetheart." Jake chuckles. He looks at Calum before grabbing my chest. No, no, no, no, no! Calum punches Jake in the face, and I run away from him, hiding in Luke's arms. "Let's get you out of here!" He says. The boys take me into my room, closing the door. "How are you?" Ashton asks nervously.
"I'm scared! H-he was touching me inappropriately and kissing me when I didn't want him to-o! Just like my stepda-ad!" I sob. Luke keeps hold of me, to make me feel like I've got some kind of protection from Jake if he comes in here.

The sound of Calum screaming makes me pull myself out of his grip. "Elena, don't!" Ashton shouts. I run out of the room and see Calum on top of Jake, punching him in the face. He won't stop hitting him, and I can see in his eyes that he won't stop either. "CALUM! STOP IT!" I scream, running over to him. He doesn't listen to me, he just keeps punching Jake over and over again. I see a teacher running down the hall with some security guards, right towards us. "CALUM! JUST STOP! PLEASE!" I scream, hysterically crying.
"FUCK YOU!" Calum screams at Jake, throwing another punch. "HOW DARE YOU MOLEST ELENA! YOU MAKE ME SICK!" He screams louder.

The guards grab Calum, pulling him off Jake. The teacher helps Jake up, his face pouring with blood. I think Calum may have even broken his nose... "Let me go!" Calum tries pulling himself free from the guards. He sees my look of horror, disappointment, worry. "Elena, I-I'm sorry!" He cries out, being pulled down the hallway. He frees himself, running to me. "I love you!" He whispers, kissing me. The guards rip him off me, dragging him down the hall. I cry as he keeps calling out that he's sorry and that he loves me. Oh Calum, what have you done? What have you done...

*

It's been a week and I'd already been told that Calum was going to be in Containment downtown for two weeks. Two weeks. The boys have been like my personal bodyguards these past few days. Jake hasn't bothered coming near me, but I'm worried that something's going to happen to me, or one of the boys. I've still got to go through another week without Calum, and I'm worried about him. Ashton's told me that this Containment Center is like a Juvenile detention center. I don't want Calum getting hurt. I'm sitting on my bed right now, my art pad in my hands. What should I draw? I touch my mum's necklace that I brought with me and I knew what to draw. I put as much detail as I could into the drawing, it was the drawing I know will mean the most to me for the rest of my life. I draw it and stare at it, a tear rolling down my cheek. My mother, my hero, my everything.

Calum's coming back today and I can't wait. Two weeks is way too long! "Are you ready for Calum coming back?" Luke winks. I blush. "Excitement confirmed from blushing!" He screeches.
"Luke, shush! Someone might here you!" I panic, looking out in the hallway.
"Sorry, Elena!" He pretends to cry, making me laugh. "When do you think he'll get here?"
"I don't know! Hopefully soon, I've missed him to be honest." I admit, twiddling my thumbs nervously. What if something changes and he doesn't come back today? "He'll be here today, don't worry!" Luke reassures, reading my mind. I hear someone shouting my name from down the hall. Ashton and Michael run into my room, breathing heavily. "You guys are so unfit!" I laugh. "Come on! Calum's back!" Ashton says. He's back?!

"Take me!" I persist, following them out of my room. He's in the garden, kicking a football at the fence. Why didn't he come and see me when he got here? We watch him from inside. "When did he get here?" I ask Ashton.
"About ten minutes ago? We were looking for you since he walked through the doors." Ashton replies. Ten minutes is enough time to come and see me... "Let's go say hi!" Michael suggests happily. We walk through the garden doors. "Calum, I've missed you!" I say. He freezes when I talk. He puts his hood up and looks down, bumping past me. "Wait, what?" I say in shock. "D-did that seriously just happen?!"
"I'm sorry, Elena... I don't know what's going on with him right now. That was so stupid." Michael apologises. "I'm just gonna go and sit in my room with Luke. He's waiting for Calum there. I'll go tell him that he couldn't give a shit to say hi to any of us." I say angrily, holding back tears as I storm back inside and back to my room.

"Did he give you a kiss then?" Luke smiles excitedly.
"He didn't even look at me, Luke." I whisper, looking down.
He gets up and hug me, "well then he's an idiot."
"I guess so," I nod, not meaning it at all. He's not an idiot. And if he is an idiot, then he's my idiot. "I just hope he still cares about me. Two weeks isn't enough time for someone to decide they no longer love you anymore, is it?" I mumble.
Lukes shakes his head, "no, it most certainly isn't!"
"Then I don't know why he's ignoring me." I shrug, sitting down. I'm defeated. I hope Calum still loves me, because I sure as hell love him. There's the sound of someone shouting, "let go, Ashton, right now!" It's Calum.

Ashton and Michael are stood with Calum behind them, his hood up and head down like before. They push him to the front. "Tell her why you're ignoring her, right now." Ashton demands.
"Or show her." Michael adds. Show me?
"Let me leave, for god sake." Calum mumbles.
"If you don't do it, we'll do it." Ashton warns. Calum doesn't move. "Fine then," Ashton shrugs. He grabs Calum's hood, pulling it down. He instantly looks away, but not quickly enough to stop me seeing the massive bruised eye he has.. "Oh my god..." I whisper in shock. "Who did that to you?" I frown, hoping he'll speak to me now that I know.
"It's no one, I'm fine," he whispers.

I touch his shoulder, but he doesn't move. "Calum, why didn't you just show me?" I sigh sadly.
"I didn't want you to worry about me... I didn't want to stress you out when you have enough stress going on as it is." He admits, still not looking at me.
"Calum, just look at me..." I say quietly. He doesn't turn his head, so I gently cup his face so he's facing me and I can see him blinking tears away. I crash my lips onto his. I've missed this feeling so much; the feeling of fireworks exploding, butterflies doing summer salts. I've missed him. I pull away and hug him tightly, "I want to worry about you, Calum Hood, I want to. Because I love you."
"I love you too, Elena." He says back, holding me tightly in his arms.

"How was it?" Luke asks as we all sit in my room.
"It was alright. Some of the guys knew who I was. They said they were mates with Jake." He says. "Was it them?" I question, gesturing to his eye. He nods.
"What a dickhead! He must've called the prison to let them know Calum was fucking coming!" Ashton growls. Sounds like something he'd do... "Well you're back now, and you're safe." I smile, cuddling into his chest. "And I hope you were too." He rubs my back, raising an eyebrow.
"She was completely safe. Jake and his stupid mates didn't go anywhere near her. Scout's honor." Michael reassures.
"Thanks guys." Calum smiles at them.
"Elena, has anyone spoken to you about the day I was taken to the Center? Staff-wise." Calum asks. "No," I frown, "why?"

"Because they were asking me about what happened, and they said they were going to have to talk to you about it. It's because of what I screamed at him when they dragged me off him." He bites his bottom lip, looking as though he's betrayed me. "About him molesting me?" I ask. He nods. "It's okay, Cal. I don't mind telling them about it." I smile reassuringly at him. He kisses the tip of my nose, making me smile more. "If you want, me and you could get it over and done with now? I could walk with you to find Leia, she was the one asking me about it." Calum offers.
"Good idea," I nod, "we'll see you guys later, yeah?"
"Yeah!" Ashton smiles.
"Good luck!" Luke and Michael say in unison. Creepy.

Me and Calum make our way to Leia's office. "Don't worry about it, okay? If you get too upset to talk about it, you can stop. I'm sure Leia won't mind waiting for you to say it in your own time. I hate admitting it, but Leia's actually pretty nice." He rambles.
"Pretty nice? First compliment Calum's ever said about someone who works here!" I tease.
"Shush you, it's horrible that I even think a staff member in this shit hole is nice!" Calum pushes me playfully, making me giggle. "Are you completely sure you want to do this though?" Calum checks. "I'm completely sure. It's going to be a bit upsetting having to go over what happened, because it was disgusting. But; I can do this. I need to do this." I explain, stopping outside of Leia's room. "Well then, let's do this." Calum kisses my cheek, walking into the room with me.

"Hello, Elena, what can I do for you?" Leia greets with a smile.
"Calum told me you were planning on speaking to me about what happened with Jake?" I reply.
"Ah, yes! Take a seat!" She points to one of the chairs opposite her desk.
"Is it alright if Calum stays? I'd feel more comfortable." I admit.
"Of course it's alright!" She replies. Thank god. "Okay. I just want you to go through exactly what happened with Jake. I'll be making notes and asking a few questions along the way, but I don't want you to worry about it. Take your time, if you need a break then you can take one. We'll take this slow and easy, or at whatever pace you feel most comfortable going at." She explains. "So whenever you're ready, you can start." She adds. I take a deep breathe and look at Calum. He gives my hand a reassuring squeeze and gives me a nod that says, "you can do this."
"It started the day that me and the others snuck out of the home..." I start. This is going to be a stressful story.
