- Elena's POV -

Ashton and I are currently at work right now. He's meeting the boys again after his shift, to do whatever it was that they were doing yesterday. Or that's what I'm guessing at least. They all kept asking me if I was going to try and see if Calum was at Mecca today, but I said no. I know for a fact that he won't be there, so there's no point in upsetting myself again like I did yesterday. "Excuse me?" I snap out of my thoughts to see an old man standing with an impatient look on his face. "I'm so sorry! What can I get for you today?" I apologise, giving him a smile.
"You should be sorry, stupid cow!" He spits.
"Hey! Watch what you're saying!" Ashton comes over to the counter.
"Your customer service is atrocious! I have the mind to report the both of you!" He scoffs.
"I'm very sorry, sir, but I did apologise. You're the one that proceeded to lash out with harsh words." I defend in a calm and polite manner.
"Whatever." He rolls his eyes and storms out of the coffee shop.

"Are you alright?" Ashton frowns.
"I'm fine! He chose to take the negative path rather than the positive one." I grin.
"Still; a stupid cow?" He scowls.
"Don't worry about it, Ash!" I reassure. He relaxes and continues with cleaning the coffee machine. "Hallelujah!" I sigh happily as I notice the time. I make my way into the staff room and grab my bag, leaving Ashton to go and meet the boys again. I guess being home alone means I can just chill. Quite a plus if you ask me. Once I get home, I chill on the sofa, turning on the TV. Ninja Warrior's on again. During the show, I start to feel a little tired, and soon, I fall asleep...

"Calum!" I shout, seeing the boy I love so very much walking across the street. I shout his name again as he reaches the other side. He has headphones in. If I scream one more time, he might hear me. I start crossing the road, "CALUM!" I scream as loud as I can and he whips around. The boys are all screaming at me, but I can't hear what they're saying, because the sound of a car horn overpowers them. I only get a short second to look to my left, the vehicle coming in contact with my side. I'm thrown in the air and I hit the floor, unconscious...

"Elena, wake up!" I bolt up, Ashton shaking my arm.
"I-I saw him!" I whisper, breathing heavily.
"Same dream as before?" He asks. I nod, which earns me a sad smile from all of the boys. "I say you go to bed, Elena... You're obviously tired. I'm sure you won't have the same dream again." Ashton frowns, trying to reassure me. "Okay... Goodnight," I mutter, going upstairs. When I'm in my room, I let the tears fall. I just wish I could see him again, just once. I don't bother changing, I just crawl into my bed and pull the covers over me. I wonder what's going to happen tomorrow.  I'm definitely going to Mecca, because I'm off work tomorrow. Let's just hope I find him... I feel myself becoming tired and I'm soon asleep.

I jolt up. Again. I had the same nightmare. Again. I check the time and it's 12:53pm. That's pretty late for me... I get up and grab something to wear, applying some makeup. I don't know what to do with my hair... I go downstairs and all the boys are eating cereal. "Guys, I don't know what to do with my hair!" I groan.
"Can I try something?" Luke asks, getting up from his chair. I frown in confusion, but nod. He comes over and takes the hair "things" from me. About five minutes later, he says he's done. I look in the mirror and my jaw drops. "When the hell did you become talented at styling a girl's hair?" I ask in surprise.
"I don't know..." He goes bright red.
"Are you gay?" I squint my eyes at him.
"NO!" He shakes his head rapidly, making me laugh.
"I was joking!" I giggle. He chuckles at me.

"Can we go and see if Calum's in Mecca today?" I ask.
"Of course we can!" Ashton smiles. I squeal and rush over to him, throwing my arms around his neck. "Thank you," I grin happily. Today's the day... We all slip our shoes on and walk out of the house. Ashton locks the door behind us, and we start walking to Mecca. "So what are you gonna do if you see him?" Michael asks.
"I don't know... Probably run over and just hug him." I admit.
"Cute!" Luke smiles. I blush.
"I hope he's there. It'll be good to see Calena together again!" Ashton grins.
"Wait, you gave us a ship name?" I question, giving him a quizzical look.
"Yeah?" He goes bright red.
"I like it!" I wink. Calena... It's cute...

"I know you probably want to rush into finding him, but it's not solidly the afternoon. Maybe we should go for a coffee first?" Luke suggests.
"Sure, let's go for a coffee." I nod. We make our way to Starbucks.
"Shame Kara's not here." Michael pouts teasingly. Ashton blushes again.
"Ask her out, Ash. You know you want to!" I push.
"Fine! When I get the chance, I'll ask her." He caves. The rest of us cheer and give each other high-fives in celebration. "You guys are so annoying..." He mumbles, making us all burst into laughter. I love spending time with these idiots, and adding Calum to the equation would be even better. Let's face it; things were great in the home, even if we had ups and downs.

Once we all finish our coffees, we get up and leave. "This is gonna really annoy you, so please don't be mad at us..." Michael begins saying.
"What will?" I frown.
"Could we please go and get a Krispy Kreme doughnut first?" Luke puts on a puppy face.
"Sure!" I sigh playfully. The boys all cheer and we head to the doughnut shop. I don't bother getting one, because I'm a little nervous about the possibility of seeing Calum again. The boys pay for their doughnuts and we leave. "Ready?" Ashton grins.
"As ready as I'll ever be!" I nod, giving him a smile. We start heading to Mecca. When we get there, Calum isn't inside. "He's not come in today. Usually he'd have been here an hour ago!" The guy at the counter says. "I'm never gonna see him again," I think out loud as we head back home. "Don't think like that!" Ashton says.

"It's a bit hard, Ash... Every time I come here, he's either just left or he didn't even come!" I protest. "You just have to keep on trying!" Michael points out.
"Yeah, don't give up!" Luke nods in agreement. I sigh, giving them a shrug as a reply. We continue walking home. It's a slow walk, because I'm moping around. I just want to see Calum again. What's so difficult about that? I let out a quiet sigh, but Luke hears it. "Stop being sad! You'll see him if you just keep on trying!" He persists.
"I suppose so..." I shrug. The boys all look concerned, but they don't need to be. It's not like I'm going into a dark hole of no return! We continue walking and we pass Starbucks. "Kara's there, Ashtonnnn!" Michael teases.
"Now isn't exactly the right time, Michael..." He hisses, looking at me.
"I'm not dying!" I retort. He stops talking, and I instantly feel bad.

"Sorry..." I mumble.
"It's fine, Elena." He smiles kindly.
"I don't deserve you guys..." I admit sadly. It's true. They're always there for me and they always stand by me; even if I'm the worst person towards them. "Yes you do. If anything, we don't deserve you. You're always helping us with things when we need it, and you never let us down." Ashton says firmly. "That's because I love you guys. You're my family." I explain.
"Exactly. And we love you too. You're our sister, remember?" Luke points out. They all give me a hug together and I feel better straight away. "Thanks guys." I smile.
"It's okay!" They say together. Freaky... We continue walking and pass Pizza Hut and Krispy Kreme. It's then that I feel my heart race speed up. There's no way... I must be seeing things The boys faces confirm that I'm not going crazy... It's him.
