It's the only way to save my son, a forced marriage with a stranger that my sister refuses to marry my Stepfather brings me to believe that If I marry Jaxon Lune They will pay for the heart transplant for my son Jayden. But when We get married Somet...
"Jayden, time to get ready for school," I call out from My room.
"Okay, Momma," Jayden responds quietly. I can hear the shuffling of his tiny feet as he gets out of bed and prepares for the day.
I head to my closet, digging through my clothes, and begin to get ready for work. The morning sun filters in through the curtains, casting a warm glow on the room.

"Jayden, what's that you've got there?" I inquire, as he walks into the living room, holding up a brand new bag with excitement shining in his eyes.
"Look, Mom, what Jaxon bought me!" he exclaims, his smile beaming.
I glance over at Jaxon, who returns the grin. "I love it! Did you say thank you?" I ask Jayden.
Jayden nods eagerly, and Jaxon chuckles. "Only twenty times since we left the store," Jaxon says, ruffling Jayden's hair. "No problem; it's only fair I get to spoil him a little."
"Thank you," I mumble, my heart warmed by their bond.
Jaxon adds, "I'll take him today since he's on my way to work unless you want to take him?"
"I would be a little late for work if you don't mind taking him. That would be amazing," I reply, grateful for the offer.
"Okay, Bud, go ahead and go to the car while I talk to your mom," Jaxon says, and Jayden heads out toward Jaxon's car.
After Jayden leaves the room, I turn to Jaxon. "Are you okay?" I ask, concern flickering in my eyes.
"Yeah, I just wanted to check in on you and see how you're feeling," he says with a smile.
"Really good since someone paid the bills," I mutter, grateful for his generosity.
Jaxon smiles, and I glance out the window. "Well, you should probably get going," I sigh, acknowledging the time.
"Yeah..." He hesitates, and we lock eyes for a brief moment.
I lean in for a hug, but instead of embracing me, Jaxon gently tilts my chin and presses his lips to mine. My heart races, and for a moment, I'm paralyzed by the unexpected kiss. He slowly pulls back, his eyes searching mine.
"I'm sorry," he says, his voice filled with uncertainty.
Shaking my head to clear my thoughts, I gather my courage and pull him in for another kiss, this one a little more passionate. His hands find my hips, and he squeezes gently before pulling away again.
"I really have to go," he whispers, his breath warm against my lips.
"Sorry," I laugh, licking my lips. He smiles, gives me a gentle peck, and then rushes out to his car to drive Jayden to school.
