[𝙿.𝙾.𝚅 𝚁𝙾𝚂𝙴]The dimly lit room is cloaked in darkness, with the only slivers of light penetrating through the small holes in the boarded-up window. I sit there, my thoughts endless and filled with uncertainty, my heart heavy with fear for Jayden and myself.
Suddenly, a loud, jarring bang shatters the silence, jolting me from my contemplation. My pulse quickens as I recognize the familiar, deep voice that pierces through the room.
"How the hell did he figure out where we are?" The voice is laced with anger and frustration, setting off alarm bells in my mind.
The situation takes a terrifying turn as the command is given. "Get them out of here," the voice snaps, and the door swings open. My heart races, and I scramble to my feet as quickly as I can, my mind racing with dread and anxiety.
As the men advance toward me, I back away instinctively. They move with purpose, their expressions hardened. One of them grabs my arm, and another covers my mouth, silencing any attempt to scream or call for help.
"In case you get any ideas about biting me, you little bitch," one of them growls, shoving me forward with a cruel smirk.
I struggle against their strong grip, my desperate attempts to resist only met with further aggression. The words "Let me go" escape my lips, though they are muffled by the cloth gagging me. With every ounce of strength, I tug, pull, and stomp my feet in an attempt to free myself. I even resort to biting at the cloth, determined to tear through it as best I can.
My efforts are interrupted as they abruptly turn me to face Jayden. The dread intensifies as one of the men brandishes a pistol, pressing it to Jayden's fragile head.
"Stop resisting, or I'll put a bullet in his damn head," the threat is cold and merciless, and it sends shivers down my spine. My eyes fill with tears, and I can hear Jayden's terrified sobs.
"Mommy, I'm scared," Jayden whimpers, his voice quivering with fear and vulnerability. I nod as best I can, unable to speak, the weight of the situation pressing down on me. As they drag us away from each other, the anguish and helplessness I feel become almost unbearable, the separation from my child an agonizing torment that fills my heart with dread.

[𝙿.𝙾.𝚅 𝙹𝙰𝚇𝙾𝙽]We burst through the doors of the dimly lit room, and a scene of chaos and disarray greets us. It's evident that a struggle had taken place, with furniture overturned and objects strewn about haphazardly. The room appears to bear the marks of violence and desperation, heightening our sense of urgency.
"Look around, please find them," I implore the group, my voice a mixture of anxiety and determination. My heart races as I push forward, scanning every corner and space in the room for any potential clues.
The team members disperse, each taking a different area to search. The air is thick with tension as we comb through the wreckage, searching for any sign that Rose and Jayden were here. My mind races with the possibilities of what could have happened in this room, and the fear for their safety gnaws at me.
Hank's voice suddenly breaks through the tense silence. "Quick, they just left!" he shouts. My heart leaps at the news, a surge of hope coursing through me. Without a moment's hesitation, I sprint out of the room, following Hank as he leads the way.
We emerge onto the street, and my eyes lock onto a van just pulling away from the scene. It's a heart-stopping moment, as the vehicle speeds off, leaving a trail of uncertainty in its wake. The adrenaline courses through my veins as I shout, "Let's go!"
