"The girl of the show, Akechi Asakumo!" a voice mocked, echoing all around me. I rolled my eyes and relaxed my hand on my katana hilt.

"The little servant, Ito Kage," I called back, a beam of light appearing in my palms. A figure appeared from the catwalk above, jumping down in front of me, the familiar grey eyes flicking up to my own. "Still being paid by the high and mighty Kato Chuuya, yes?" I teased, walking past him, farther into the storage building. Snapping my fingers, every single light turned on revealing the many colored cargo boxes.

"Interesting..." a Kage's voice came from above me. He was walking on the boxes right next to me. "You control light?" he asked, looking down at me. I nodded, eyes still ahead of me. "But, you used a flashlight last time we met."

I let out a burst of laughter. "It's called hiding your abilities so that your enemy can't study you." I shook my head, giggling slightly, "I noticed that you can control shadows and darkness. Your names gave it away. You also disappeared last time." Kage mouthed something to himself, his flushing in embarrassment.

"Is someone talking to you?~" Emi trilled through my earpiece. I groaned, forgetting about our arrangement. "What are you waiting for? Get me online with this kid."

"Yeah, yeah," I muttered, my holographic keyboard and screen appearing in front of me. "I'm working on it already." A moment later, I had connected Kage's earpiece to mine. "There you go, speak," I said grudgingly.

"Finally!" Emi laughed, "You know, Mr. Kage, my girl here talks about you all the time. Everyday." I felt my face heat up, noticing that Kage's face was also red.

"Don't listen to her," I whispered to Kage, trying to hide my blushing face. Kage opened his mouth to say something when there was a bang of metal. We both froze, communicating with our eyes.

"Run." he breathed and I did just that. Shouts echoed around the storage house, confusing me. I skidded to a stop, turning sharply. "I'll send the file over to your headquarters personally," Kage told me over the earpiece. "I'll see you soon." and then he disconnected. The pound of footsteps came nearer to me as I rounded the corner in front of the doorway. Glancing behind me one more time, I saw a man in a suit round the corner, his eyes wide when he saw me. I ran like I never had before.
