Mission 12

I typed in the password for the Hi no Chi database, rolling back the chair for Chuuya to move forward. "So?" I asked him, waiting for his response. He chuckled under his breath.

"Wonderful." he laughed again. I rolled my eyes and opened my holographic screen, surfing through the database at my own speed. I stopped halfway, seeing something about who was in the group. I opened it and saw all the names listed. Next to each name was an ability? I shook my head and looked again.

"Hey, Chuuya, you guys don't have supernaturals in the mafia, right?" Chuuya nodded and looked confused.

"It's the powerless wanting power with us. All the supernaturals are Samurai and Ronins." I furrowed my eyebrows.

I looked back at my screen. "There are supernaturals in the Hi no Chis. Actually, all of them are..." I leaned my head back. This was bad. This was really bad. If the Hi no Chis had supernaturals, then we were up against a stronger foe than we thought. I got up from my chair, slipping my katana into my holster.

"I'll come back sometime." I bowed to the mafia boss and jumped out of the window, landing on a nearby roof. I hesitated, nearly falling over. Why would I go tell the Samurais? They were the ones lying to me. But... they were also the ones in danger. I let out a frustrated sigh and ran to the headquarters.

The samurai guard bowed to me as I walked by. I nodded to her and continued walking. I slammed open the door to the hacker room and walked up to Emi. "The Hi no Chis are supernaturals." I leaned over her chair. She turned around and hugged me.

"You're back! I'm so, so, so sorry, Asakumo." She looked at me, her hands on my shoulders. "I'm really sorry." I nodded and sat down next to her.

"Right now is not the time for tears." I typed something into her computer, pulling up the page with all the members in the Hi no Chis. "We need to find each of these people and bring them in." I looked at the first name and pulled up my holographic screen, working next to Emi.
