I paced back and forth in front of the whole group of people I called up. Stopping, I pulled up a large holographic screen in front of everyone and pointed to it.
"What is this?" My voice sounded strange, almost strained and sad. I heard a large intake of breath from all the seniors, their faces betraying guilt and fear. I repeated myself. "What is this?"
Daiki, who was on my parent's strike team spoke up. "They never were on the strike team. That was just the excuse we came up with to avoid suspicion from the Government. If the Government found out, they would shut us down." I frowned and crossed my arms.
"Then how come you never told me? You lied to me for thirteen years!" I kicked the tea table, frustration building up in me. "For the longest time in my life, I believed the lie that my parents had been killed on a strike mission when really, they were killed by a group led by the three evil yokai. Why?" I broke down and ran out of the room.
It took me five minutes to find him. I walked through the bright white halls, knocking anyone out who tried to stop me. I finally found the right door and knocked. A deep voice responded.
"Come in." I pushed the door open and bowed to the man dressed in white.
"Kato Chuuya," I straightened, "a pleasure to meet you." The mafia boss laughed and got up, bowing to me.
"Akechi Asakumo. You made quite the show the last time I saw you. Same with all those disappearing files. you had something to do with them, I suppose?" I nodded.
"Actually, that is what I'm here about." I took a seat opposite Chuuya, "You see, I want to know who these people are, and not have to rely on the lies of everyone else. I want to see what you have gathered."
Chuuya steepled his fingers, thinking about it. "And what do I get in return?"
"I'll release some of your best." I offered, "It's now or never." I held out a hand. Chuuya shook it.
"What do you know about this group?" the mafia boss sat down, crossing his legs, and leaning over the desk.
"They're called the Hi no Chis and they practically don't exist. The three evil yokai lead the group. I also hacked into their database." Chuuya's eyebrows shot up.
"You...what?!" I crossed my arms.
"You heard me. I hacked into their database. It took some time, but I managed it." I paused, "I can access it for you, then we can get to work."
Chuuya stood up, walking to the door. "Be my guest."
