The underground really stunk. If anything changed from the last time I was here, it was the stink and more shady people. For once in my life, I was really thankful that Samurai had to wear masks. If I didn't wear a mask, I think the smell would have killed me.

Kage pushed through the crowds of people and soon disappeared in the crowds. My breath caught as I was left behind, people overshadowing me, their gazes drifting to my katana. Biting my lip, I steadied myself and started wading through the mob of people. Suddenly, a hand grabbed mine, and I panicked, nearly cutting off the person's hand.

"Hey!" Kage pulled me in view of himself. "Maybe you watch where you're cutting with that thing." he looked slightly annoyed. I flinched.

"Sorry...I panicked." his face softened.

He pulled me closer, pulling his hood farther over his head. "Stay close. I think I might have found something." He walked quickly through the crowd, pulling me behind him. After a few ups and downs, he pulled me into a dark alleyway with one light hanging over a blood-red door. Drawn on the door was the face of a black oni, its eyes seeming to stare into my very soul. Below the oni face were the characters, 火の血.

Kage was about to knock, but I stopped him. "Don't knock. We're not ready to infiltrate them. I'll take a front view and top view picture, send the coordinates to Emi, and hopefully she can hack in. Or I can do that. We need to approach indirectly before directly." I waited until he finally nodded his head. "Good. Give me a few seconds and then we can get out of this infernal place."

I waved my hand in front of me, my holographic screen appearing. I took a picture of the front door and set a small drone above the building. While I waited for the pictures to upload, I pulled up my map, copied the coordinates, and sent that and the pictures to myself and Emi.

"All set. Now, let's get out of her before-"

"That's her. It's the Akechi girl!" someone shouted and the end of the alleyway.

"-someone decides to kill me... Well...I think I spoke too late." I grabbed Kage by the arm and ran in the opposite direction of the people who wanted to kill me. A chain-link fence blocked our path, the wanna-be killers right on our tail. I grabbed the top of the fence and pulled myself up, vaulting over the top. Kage did the same and we ran out of the underground.

"Don't you dare ever bring me back here!" I yelled, checking behind me. I slapped a bomb on the wall next to me, the bomb going off right as the mob passed by it. "Great! Now I have even more enemies than before."
