chan and felix were currently sitting in a tteokbokki restaurant, an awkward silence surrounding them.

they were waiting for their food, and neither of them really knew how to approach the issue.
they weren't talking for DAYS, how can they even start now?

"so..."
felix said, he himself not really sure what he was about to say.
"how have you been?"

"bad."
chan sighed, before looking at Felix.
"I'm sorry, for everything."

Felix stayed silent.

chan looked back down on the table.
"I should have never confessed my feelings, not when I knew you already had a boyfriend. and the things I said....should have never left my mouth. I'm so sorry, I truly am."

for a while, Felix didn't say anything.
he was gathering his thoughts.

"you know...I think that it's a good thing that you confessed. I mean...not the things you said specifically, but the fact you let me know. I think that  it's a good thing, because I think it's easier to move on like that."
Felix said.

"I ruined our friendship with my confession lix. I don't think that it was a good thing."

"I don't think our friendship is ruined. sure, we have been...avoiding each other, but that's why we're here. I miss my best friend. you know, the one who treats me like his son? and takes care of all of us? the one I could talk to about anything? it's true that things have been a little awkward between us, but we can work on that. I don't want to loose you over this chan. you're an important person to me."

chan gave Felix a small smile, before reaching for his hand and gently taking it.
"I don't want to loose you too Felix. especially not our friendship. it's a thing I want to cherish. so I will try my best to make it up to you, all of the pain I caused you with my confession. I'm really happy that you found someone who loves you and understand you. that's how it should be, and I hope everything will turn out amazing for you guys."
he said with a small smile.

Felix returned it.
"thank you."

"here is your food!"
the waitress said, putting their food on the table.
"enjoy~"

hyunjin was just watching the TV, when there was a knock on the door.

confused, he made his way there and opened it, a little surprised to see Felix.

"love? what are you doing here?"
hyunjin asked.

but Felix just threw himself at hyunjin and started crying.
that confused hyunjin even more.

"baby? what's wrong?"
he asked, gently caressing Felix's back.

"I'm just so relieved~"
Felix sobbed out.

he didn't even realize how much this whole chan situation was messing him up. he missed his best friend, he wanted to tell him things, but knew he couldn't.

and now, they were okay.
they were going to be okay.
he doesn't have to avoid his best friend anymore, and that meant the whole world to him.
