felix and hyunjin made their way to the beach.
one of their favorite spots.

walking hand in hand, they watched how the sun slowly but surely fell behind the sea.

"let's sit."
hyunjin said with a smile.

felix nodded, and the boys sat on the sand, watching the beautiful view in front of them.

"do you think that this is how it was all planned out?"
felix asked, looking at the sun setting down.

"what exactly do you have in mind?"
hyunjin asked back, looking at his lowing boyfriend.

"do you think that we should have been here, right now? like there was no other way? that we were meant to be sitting here, at this moment, together?"
felix said.

"there is no other way. we should have ended up here, like these waves.",
hyunjin said, looking at the see.
"they are always coming here, they know nothing else, and there is no other way. that's exactly how is it with us, my love."

"I think so too."
felix said, a little smile forming on his face.
"I believe we were meant to be."

hyunjin closed his eyes, just enjoying the sounds around him. the waves slightly hitting the shore, the birds around, that were making sounds from time to time, the breeze, that was gently hitting his face, and Felix's breathing. he took all those sounds in, breathing out.
is this what true comfort feels like?
"felix?"

"mhm?"

"are you still here with me?"
hyunjin whispered.

felix got up, before he sat on hyunjins lap, putting his hands on hyunjin's shoulders.
"I will always be here with you, no matter what."

hyunjin slowly opened his eyes, happiness and love filling his body when he saw Felix's beautiful face.

he gently placed one of his hands on Felix's cheek, caressing the beautiful freckles on Felix's face with his thumb, before gently pulling him in for a kiss, just as the sun was setting down, the slow but steady darkness surrounding them.

hyunjin sighed, leaning his head back, resting it.
he finally finished his book.

he was always writing poem books, so this was something new, but he liked writing about love, so he tried to write a book about two boys slowly falling love with each other.
he just hoped that people will like it.

he took his phone, checking the time.
eight thirty.

suddenly, there was a knock on the doorframe.

hyunjin turned around, smiling when he saw his husband leaning against it.

"well hello there handsome."
hyunjin said.

felix chuckled.
"I don't want to disturb you, but kids want their dad to put them into bed."
he said with a smile.

hyunjin smiled.
"of course. it was a perfect timing. I just finished my book."
he said, getting up and walking to his husband, giving him a quick kiss.

"let's go, they need to go to sleep."
Felix chuckled as he pulled away.

"I love you, you know that?"

felix just playfully rolled his eyes.
"I love you too."

"DAAAAD!"
was suddenly heard from upstairs.

hyunjin chuckled.
"let's not keep them waiting."
