"Blue," Cricket whispered. "Are you awake?" "Kinda," Blue responded. Cricket pulled out her phone and started typing.

Ding  Blue checked the notification. Cricket has created a chat. He clicked on the notification and started typing.

Blue:

Hello? Is anyone awake?

Cricket:

Blue:

Sundew:

sleepover going?

What are you guys doing? You should be sleeping!

Cricket:

Luna! Why are you all awake????

Sundew:

I'm a light sleeper, I woke up when my phone dinged.

Sooo, What have you Done at your sleepover So far?

Blue:

Not much. We took a nap And then made sandwiches and Brownies. Then we got attacked By broccoli and then we started Reading and then we had butter Chicken for dinner and then we tried To fall asleep and then we started Texting you guys. What about you?

Swordtail:

Compared to that, what we Did was boring. We went to the skate park and then had A picnic and then we started Skating again and then we had dinner and then we tried to sleep And then we started texting you.

Blue:

Ok, Cool. What about you, Sundew?

Sundew:

Uhh. . . I went To the movies With . . . Willow.

Blue:

Awesome!

Sundew:

Cricket:

Blue, we need to talk . . . . . .

Blue:

Sure! I can talk about anything.

Cricket:

Cricket and Blue have left the chat

Blue scooted over next to Cricket. "So what did you want to tell me?" asked Blue curiously. "It was just, I. . . uh . . . I, Do you . . I like - , " Cricket started. Blue blinked in obvious confusion. Cricket turned as red as a tomato. "I . . . Blue, I mean it's ok if you- I am- I...I really like you" Cricket said. "Umm. . . I really like you too?" Blue replied.

"No, you don't get it. I'm in-i'm in lo-i'm in LOVE with you. So I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date, like girlfriend and boyfriend?" Cricket blurted and buried her face in her hands expecting a no. "Yes, I would love to . . . " Blue answered. They stared into each other's eyes. Blue leaned into Cricket and lifted her chin. He pulled her into a passionate kiss. Cricket flushed red and kissed him back, taking his hands in hers. They stayed like that for a few seconds. Blue felt butterflies in his stomach because he knew that this time wasn't a dream. When they pulled apart Bumblebee yelled "I'm telling daddy you kissed a boy!"

"NO! I mean, you can't," Cricket almost screamed. Then looked at Blue and smiled.

Ding

Swordtail:

Sooo, Blue what did she want To talk about? Spill the BEANS

"Should we tell him?," Blue asked. "No, we should keep it a secret for now" Cricket answered.

Blue:

Oh it was nothing important, it is no concern to you
