Not a Butthole

After what felt like forever, They finally reached. . . A dead end.

"How could there be a dead end?!" Willow cried. "We followed the instructions exactly, Didn't we?" She sat down on a rock and started going through the last few directions. Suddenly, Sundew popped up behind them. "Do you want the good news, or the bad news?" She asked. "Good news! Everyone said at the same time. "Ok, The good news is that I have made the cure for Swordtails spider bite and the bad news is, We reached a dead end."She sat down on the jungle floor. "Maybe not," Said Luna, edging towards the rock wall. "Maybe there is a secret tunnel." She started feeling around the solid rock but just as they had expected, there was nothing.

"Welp, Looks like there is no secret tunnel or passageway on this wall," Blue said hopelessly. There was a moment of silence when everyone thought their own thoughts. Cricket suddenly had an idea.

"That's the thing!" She said excitedly. "Maybe the tunnel isn't on the wall but it is somewhere around it." Cricket ran over to the wall and started searching around the bushes. "That makes absolutely no sense," Said Luna. She got up and started pacing. "Maybe you're just jealous because your idea didn't work and mine did," Cricket said pointing down at the earth. Everyone peered over to see what she was pointing at and it was a small hole, just big enough for three of Cricket's little sister to fit through.

Maybe if I squeeze in slowly I could fit through. Cricket thought.

Cricket slowly put her legs into the hole, then her waist, then her upper body and her head could easily slip through. Cricket let out a surprised yelp at the fact the inside of the hole was like a slide, a very long slippery slide. "AAAAAAHHHH HEEELP" screamed Cricket as she slid down, down, down, into the hole "Cricket!" yelped Blue. He heard the last of Cricket's screams and without thinking twice, he went down the hole as well. "Maudit soit ce trou maléfique de la terreur" Yelled Cricket. Sundew, Willow and Luna looked up from applying the cream on Swordtail's spider bite.

"Stay here, I will go after them" said Luna, and then she was off. "So, If we have to go down there what do we do with Swordtail?" Willow asked. "I don't know? Maybe one of us can go in the tunnel and then the other slides his stretcher and the one before can make sure he doesn't fall out?" Sundew replied. "It doesn't matter, he will wake up in a matter of minutes," She added quickly.

A few minutes later Swordtail awoke very confused. Sundew slipped through the hole, Willow and Swordtail right behind her. "Are we going inside a butthole?!" said Swordtail dazely while still looking alarmed and disgruntled. "NO" snapped Sundew. "We are not going inside a butthole."

"That's a relief," He said calmly. "If we were, it would be really stinky," Swordtail held his nose and gagged.

As they went further into the hole (NOT a butthole) they started to feel hotter. Much hotter. " It's getting so hot in here," Luna moaned, fanning herself. "You could even say it is unusually hot," Willow observed. "That doesn't really matter right now, I'm just curious about how far down this tunnel goes," Sundew said, peering down into the darkness. They turned a corner and started to see an orangish red glow. "Do you guys hear that?" Asked Luna, straining her ears. "It almost sounds like voices . . ." She trailed off, realizing something.

"Blue?" she called. The echo of her voice sent a shiver running through her spine. The silence that carried through the tunnel made her feel extra stupid.

"Luna?" A familiar voice replied. "Blue!" Luna cried. She pushed past Sundew, Swordtail and Willow, Sending all four of them speeding down the last few meters. They all landed with a thump on the hard rocky surface.

A large pool of bubbling hot lava stood before Luna's eyes, and in the middle was exactly what they were looking for. The deadly nightshade.
