The Poison Jungle

Cricket and Blue looked at eachother and looked at Willow and then Cricket yelled "I know where we are! We're in the Poison Jungle!"

"The Poison Jungle, hm, That sounds nice," Sundew commented. "Oh look," Swordtail said, bending down to pick something up. "This is the scroll, and look!" He pointed on the scroll where task number one had appeared. "Task 1: Find the Deadly Nightshade in the Poison Jungle and crush it for potion," Luna read out. "Well, it looks like we're in the right place." She continued, looking around at the plants. "How are we going to find one plant in this whole jungle?!" Cricket questioned. "Wait look, It says the Deadly Nightshade is surrounded by lava," said Swordtail. "We just have to find the plant surrounded by lava!" "That's easier said than done, Look at this place, It's full of things that could eat us alive!" said Blue. "But we are going to be extra careful, right?" Cricket said. The group nodded. Sundew just shrugged. Blue Looked at her like there was a bear about to eat her the second he said a word.

The Poison Jungle couldn't be more dangerous than me. Sundew thought fiercely. Cricket was secretly holding onto Blue, Sundew noticed, Cricket put her finger to her lips and jerked her head at Luna. Sundew stifled a giggle and looked at Willow; no one can know what me and Willow are. But Swordtail found out. "Anyway" Luna said, interrupting Sundew's train of thought " We need to get started on looking for the Deadly Nightshade." Sundew was a little relieved that she was interrupted. "Pass the Scroll . . . wait a minute." She inspected it so closely it was pressed against her nose "Huh, look it says, 'Just a little hint your regards Queen Wasp,' in very tiny writing." "Let's go look for it before we all die of old age and it looks like the storm is far away," said Sundew, a little annoyed.

Then all of the sudden Wasp's eerie voice echoed through the Jungle. "I believe you all know me, I am President Wasp and I am the cause of the storm and here's the thing, you have to complete all of the tasks. The scroll is magic and each time you complete a task a new one appears. Well have fun with the answer, it is a bit cryptic and impossible and from now on the storm gets worse. Have a great week because by the end of the week the storm will rip the Island apart Hahahaha!'' She laughed maniacally while her voice slowly faded away. "Wasp is soo dramatic," Sundew said boredly. "We can easily complete these tasks if we GET A MOVE ON."

Sundew looked around at all her friends. Willow looked worried, Swordtail looked suspicious. I will investigate later, Then there was Luna who looked mildly unsettled, Blue looked horrified, Cricket was in tears, crying on Blue's shoulder. Luna scowled at them. Sundew suspected she didn't like how Blue was in a relationship with Cricket."LET'S GOOOOOOOO,"grunted Sundew. She was starting to get impatient. She really wanted to explore the jungle but her friends were taking forever to build up the courage to just take one step outside the clearing.

"Uhhh," Sundew moaned. "You guys are being such scaredy cats, It's not that bad!"

"It's always good to make sure it is safe before doing anything, It's better to be safe than sorry!" Said Blue.

"I know all about this stuff and I'm just saying you're being so slow that I have already checked everything and it is perfectly safe!" Sundew lied. "But just don't go near any plants," She said. Even though she wanted them to get a move on, she still didn't want them to get eaten. "Come on," Cricket said. "Sundew's right, we need to get moving or the storm will rip the island apart like Wasp said."

They FINALLY went out of the clearing following the instructions on the scroll. The first instruction read 'go north.' No one knew where north was but Sundew always had a compass on her incase she ever needed to find a place, All of the sudden a loud voice filled the Jungle.
