Elysia's POV

The boy and I were walking together in silence.

The height difference was major, since my head barely reached his shoulder.

My mind was still racing with questions.

"So- what's your name? Where do you want to go now if not your class?"

He was so tall I couldn't even make eye contact with him without being obvious I wanted to.

Avians are the smallest species in Feleanor, with the one above that being Felines.

"My name's Nell, Nell Havenglow. I'm from class 1-E."

"Oh, I'm from class 1-B!" I finally looked up at him.

I looked back down noticing how embarrassing that probably was.

"Uh- my name's Elysia Gaimbert."

"Elysia." He rubbed his hand to his neck. "That's a nice name"

I unconsciously ran my fingers through my hair as we both smiled.

A thought ran across my head. "Don't you think we will get in trouble for this though?"

"Hm, it's fine. People overlook me all the time. The class doesn't even need me anyway."

Hearing that made me feel bad for him. Although- I was also in a similar situation. It also made me remember that Rai is probably worried right about now. Is she?

Her gaze was different from how the others were looking at me when we first met. Though she may look stern, she actually cared and wanted to listen to me when we first met. I even saw her worried expression before I ran out of the class.

"I was thinking of going to the garden since we're having another one of those Streak showcases this month. Are you okay with that?" Nell snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Huh? Oh, the garden... well sure!"

The bell rang above us, it was one of my favourite sounds. The only loud sound I like that reminds us that we're not frozen in time.

Citrus POV

Art class was wayyy more boring than I expected. We're not architects! Why do we need to do this stuff?

'Drawing' a house plan and 'building' it are probably easy for those who enjoy doing it. But for those who aren't interested in it seem to lose all motivation.

And not only that! All the teacher did was give us assignments and told us to do this and that instead of teaching us.

"I told you I'm not doing this." Said a loud voice at the teacher's desk.

The other students were all talking to each other while building whatever, so they didn't notice the sound.

I decided to get up from my seat to see who that was instead of dealing with this mess.

Aha, it's Nell! That tall guy probably got tired of the art class as well.

At first, I thought he was a smart kid. Turns out he pretends to learn and actually listens to music wearing those headphones.

"I'm sorry Nell. However, you need to change your scale. Not to mention you haven't even started building the structure yet that's due next week. It's about time you finish it." He said it in such a monotonous voice.

"I'm sorry sir, but I have more important things to do other than this, I'll take my leave now."

"Hey- WAIT!" The art teacher was left with a door slammed in front of him; and let out a frustrated sigh.
