Day 21- Swoon (E.T.)

You were childhood friends with Vic back in the days but you moved away at 14. You didn't lose contact though, so the guys always heard about a certain 'y/n' who was living in London. But that stopped there. Sometimes hearing Vic talk over the phone to her. They knew she was a pianist, and a famous one at that. They never looked up to see her name, Vic would sometimes show some picture of you during middle school, a very few ones that were more recent. You held a special place in her heart and the boys knew it.

And when the time came. They finally met you. They were doing a small show on London.

Ethan is at a party with the band, surrounded by friends, laughter, and music. Apparently, you're already here in the crowd with your fiance. He looks for you with his eye, to see if spots you, even if he never saw you in his entire life.

But as he looks up from his drink and scans the crowd, he catches a glimpse of someone across the room. Her eyes meet his, and for a split second, it feels like everything stops. It's like time stands still, and there's just the two of you in the world.

Suddenly, everything feels different. The music sounds louder, the lights seem brighter, and the world feels more alive than ever before. He doesn't know why, but he feels a powerful connection with this person, like he has known her for years.

As you continue to make eye contact, your heart starts to race. You're not sure what's happening, but you know that this moment is unlike anything you've ever experienced before. It's like love at first sight, but more intense, more passionate, and more real than anything you've ever known.

And then, just as quickly as it began, the moment is over. The person turns and disappears back into the crowd, and you're left feeling breathless and wondering what just happened.

As you make eye contact again, he feels a tingle run through his body, and he can't help but smile. He knows that this is the moment he has been waiting for all his life, and he's ready to see where this newfound connection will take him.

But as he's only meters away, a man comes up behind her and hugs her. She giggles. Everything happens in slow motion. She turns around and give him a kiss. Ethan's heart is braking. Of course she is taken. He's snapped out of his thought by a hand being laid on his shoulders. "You found n/n !" Vic squeals and runs over to his mysterious crush. Y/n ? Oh no. Couldn't be. The y/n ? Vic's friend who's already engaged ? Oh man...

He kept a polite smile and approached the two exited girl. Vic presented him to you and your fiance. You nodded towards Ethan. "So nice to finally meet you. I heard about you. I'm y/n." You extended your hand and he didn't hesitate to take it. "Nice to meet you too. All the best I hope." He was staring right into your eyes. "All the best..." You trailed off, getting lost into his eyes, making the eye contact last a bit too long. You cleared your throat an both stepped back.

For the whole evening, he couldn't take his eyes off you. He was swooned, wrapped around your finger. He looked at you as you left with your fiance, Vic waving after you. She turned back to her bandmates. "So ? What do you think ?" She was obviously mentioning you. "She's so cool !" "Yeah, she is pretty chill I like it." Vic nodded at their comment and turned to Ethan. "And you ?" Ethan snapped out of his dream, still staring at the space you disappeared at. "She was...alright." Vic frowned and looked more carefully at the drummer's face.
"Mio Dio, you have that look." She gasped. "What look?" "That look !" She pointed at his face, leaving me more confused. "You like her don't you ? Oh my god you're so swooned ! " His face got red quite quickly, betraying him. He tried to look for help but Damiano and Thomas were on Vic's side, by their teasing looks. "Ethan ! You can't ! She's engaged." "I know ! Don't worry, I don't plan on doing anything." He raises both hands in defeat. Vic was eight and he knew it. He had to get over it.
That's how you both met a year ago.
