TW: Suicidal thoughts and ideation

What was the point in being alive anymore when all be did was make everyone's lives harder?

He'd left his letters to those he really cared about so there was nothing else to do.

A sword through the stomach perhaps? He almost felt like somewhere, in a past life perhaps, he'd done this once before.

He knew his was racing time itself so he knelt to give his final goodbye, "Oh holy Sun God, I speak to say goodbye. I ask humbly for you to please protect my friends, my true family," he was crying at this point, "Please do not allow them to follow in my footsteps, I deserve this, they do not. Blessings and praise be to the holy Sun God."

He opened his eyes, reaching for his sword but he couldn't find it beside him where he swore he'd set it.

"Looking for something?" Sun God was holding the sword in his hands, "You do know I listen to any prayer with my name right?"

He wasn't thinking straight, instead he kneeled back on the floor to ask, or more accurately beg, for forgiveness.

Sun God flicked the sword up into the air, keeping it floating as he held the pirate, "You are hurting, do not apologise. However, I'm putting you on watch, indefinitely until I can trust you also again. This is to be effective immediately."

The pirate didn't speak, instead he sobbed.

Suddenly his door was kicked open, "Scott! Oh thank the stars!" Acho threw himself at his brother, not stopping to acknowledge Sun God.

Behind Acho, the rest of the Herons, Will, Apo and Sausage had appeared, each with tears in their eyes.

"Sun God, thank you for protecting my brother," Acho was not letting go of the older Denholm boy.

"I would protect any of you. I'm confiscating his weapons, all of them. Look after each other and Scott, I'll be back to see you tomorrow," Sun God disappeared, alongside all dangerous objects in Scott's home.
