She was pacing nervously, adjusting her flower crown as she fretted.
Kuervo grabbed her hand gently, "Querida, calm down. There is nothing that can go wrong and you are getting married to a man who loves you. You will marry Jeffrey today and nothing will stop you, I will dispose of a man today if it means you can marry your dearest Jeffery," he promised.
Water let out a shaky breath, "I am scared, Kuervo," she chuckled slightly with an anxious tone.
"Of what Water?" Kuervo brushed a loose strand of hair back into place, making sure the flower crown sat perfectly on the bride's head.
"What if he... What if someone..." She started but kept trailing off.
"Jeffery wants to marry you, if you only evet trust me on one thing then let it be that fact. Jeffery wants nothing more than to marry you. Now, are you ready to become Mr and Mrs Munch?" Kuervo offered his arm as the music began to play.
Water smoothed out the imaginary wrinkles in her clothes before she took Kuervo's arm, "Thank you for giving me away, my father... he didn't accept..."
"Don't worry about him, I am more than happy to walk you down the aisle," he smiled, pushing the door open as he walked Water down the aisle.
Cruppy bounded down the aisle, throwing flower petals down on the floor until it made its way to stand near Jeffery.
At the end of the aisle stood Jeffery, Christian, Saffrie, Cruppy and Sun God, watching with baited breath as the bride approached.
Kuervo gave Water a small hug before facing Jeffery, "Hurt her and face the wrath of the Kite faction. Congratulations," he went and stood beside Saffrie.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union between Miss Water Munch and Mr Jeffery the Busker. Water and Jeffrey, the two of you are here today as a declaration of your love to one another and commitment to one another. I believe you have prepared vows?" Sun God spoke, holding his book in his hands.
Water nodded, looking her beloved in the eyes as she spoke, "Jeffery, my love, the moment I met you, it was not love at first sight, no, it was friendship first that grew into something more. I found myself asking if anyone needed something from town or if there was any chance of a quest that required being there because it meant that I got to see you. Jeffery, I want to spend the rest of our lives together, until death do us part," she took hold of her fiancé's hand with a beam.
Jeffery gave her hand a reassuring squeeze, "Water, my heart, when I met you I was madly infatuated and the day we agreed to get married was the day I saw my true purpose in life, to spend it side by side with you. You were my symphony and I hope that we can compose many a song together in the new chapters of our lives. Until death do us part."
"Do you, Water Munch, take Jeffrey the Busker to be your lawful wedded husband in sickness and in health, for poorer and for ricner and until death do you part?" Sun God asked.
"I do," Water smiled softly.
"Do you, Jeffrey the Busker, take Water Munch to be your lawful wedded wife in sickness and in health, for poorer and for ricner and until death do you part?"
Jeffery cupped Water's check, "Absolutely."
Sun God closed his book and smiled, "Then, by the power vested in me by the Sun itself, I now pronounce you Mr and Mrs Munch. You may now kiss the bride," he led the audience in a round of applause.
Jeffery leaned in for a gentle peck before he embraced his fiancée- no- his wife, simply holding her in his arms.
