Also, apologies for not posting this in the morning, had one busy day, but here it finally is, hope it's worth the wait, because the drama starts 😈

Anyyyway,

Y/N's POV

Sunday, January 10th.

It's Game day, finally.

"You'll be fine, y/n. Don't stress your head about it, just play, play with enjoyment, forget that they're there, okay?" Katie says softly down the phone as I pack my bags in a hurry, waiting on my grandma to get back from work and pick me up.

"Thanks K, though it's gonna be a bit hard to forget that they're literally going to be sat there, watching me" I say followed by a nervous chuckle.

"Y/N, YOU READY?" I heared shouted from downstairs.

"Two secs Katie" I quickly say down the phone.

"Yeah, yeah, two minutes" I shouted back quickly to my nan downstairs.

"I've got to go, Katie, me nan's here" I say, sort of sad having to leave.

"No worries. Good luck, you'll be great, score us some bangers, call me later?" Katie says with a chuckle.

"Thanks Katie, yeah, i'll speak you later, bye" I said softly, "Bye y/n/n" was the last thing I heard before the three beeps blared through my speaker, signalling the call had been ended.

I let out a sigh before quickly grabbing my bag, double checking that I had everything before making my way downstairs to be welcomed with a very impatient grandma waiting.

"C'mon, we need to leave, or you'll be late, traffic is already a nightmare" my grandma says, rushing us out the door and to the car.

I throw my bag into the back before getting into the passenger side of the car and immediately we set off to the game, thankfully a home game, or I would be so fucked right now, especially with the usual, awful traffic at this time.

After a delayed drive due to a crash on the motorway, we have just finally arrived at our stadium, going straight through the gates and into the car park.

I get out the car, quickly grabbing my belongings out the back before being greeted with a smiling Ellie, donning the same team tracksuits, and coincidentally, the same air force 1's.

"Heya y/n" Ellie greeted me.

"Hey Ells, alright?" I say as we make our way together to head inside.

"Yeah, good, you?"

"Yep, grand" I responded, then both of us being greeted with a Happy Lauren at the door.

"Heya girls" Lauren says.

"Hiya" Myself and Ellie said in sync as we headed in through the door and down the corridor to the changing rooms.

As we enter the changing rooms, we're greeted with loud music blaring from a speaker in the middle of the floor of the changing room, and alongside that, a hyped up dancing squad of girls, including Abi, Megan, Jade, Tasha as well as a few others, some of the girls also coming in through the door just after we did.

"Well, well, well, look who's arrived" Abi shouts, pointing at me inbetween her shit singing, more screeching to be honest, and god-awful dancing, I just give an awkward smile then proceeding to walk over to my seat, sitting down to get changed into my warm up kit that was neatly hung up alongside our home kit.
