Chapter 8: Monster Buddies

(Okay so this is chapter 8. It might take a while for it to be done and I will add a couple twists in this episode)

David started walking around Beach City with his dog wondering what he was gonna do today. He walked towards the beach wanting to look at the water for a while. While he was there, he saw the gems with Steven and his lion with another creature tied on a rock. David and the dog went to walk towards them wondering what they were doing. The dog walked to them feeling confused then his owner said "hey what are you guys doing." Garnet said "it is none of your concern please leave." Steven started saying something towards the creature then Pearl and Amethyst went to Garnet telling her what Steven told them. Pearl said "oh who are you and is that your dog." Amethyst and Garnet went to leave having Pearl, David, his dog, and Steven with the creature. Steven went to talk to the creature then pulled out chaps. David went to talk to Pearl for a bit then she turned around then saw the creature walk towards Steven seeing the chap starting to eat it.

Pearl ran to Steven saying "Steven!" "Be careful since it might hurt you." Steven said "no Pearl, it's friendly and I was feeding it a chaap." The creature turned towards David and the dog then spit acid towards them. David and the dog dodged it with Steven saying "no don't hurt them, they are my friends." The creature listened then looked at the food. Steven went to sing a song giving the creature another chip then threw them on the ground with the creature liking it. Steven was happy then got more chips out with a seagull biting his hand. Steven groaned with the seagull and the creature getting in a fight and the creature went to shoot acid towards the seagull who flew away.

Pearl, the dog, and David were all surprised. Steven said to the creature "you protected me?" Steven told Pearl what happened then ran towards the temple. They got there and David went in the house hoping that was okay. Steven went to tell Garnet and Ameythest about the creature and what they did. Steven swaked and the creature spit his acid hitting a picture of Pearl and Amethyst's torta. Amethyst said "no mi torta!" Pearl and Steven went to talk going over how they can't keep the creature and Steven saying how the creature can help on missions. Amethyst talked about how they could get through the crystals anyway. Garnet looked at the creature then said "that's how." Garnet, Amythest, Steven, and the creature started to go to the warp pad ready to leave. Steven said "aren't you coming Pearl?" Pearl said "yes but I have to talk to this human first." David looked at the pad then at her saying "what is that?" Pearl said "it's none of your business." "You need to leave before you get hurt." David said "okay well bye Pearl." He along with his dog started to leave going back to the beach then went to go around Beach City. He wondered what he could do with all the time he had. He decided to walk home and put his dog in the bedroom taking his leash off. He smiled and pet his dog before walking out and walked through beach city. He got worried about Steven and the gems. He hoped that they would be okay. He got a little interested in that pad wondering if it could talk him across the world to maybe France. He guessed that Sour Cream and the others were probably hanging out on their own. He decided to go to the library. Once he got there, he went to read some books in there. He kept reading books until it was almost dark. He got books he liked then checked them out. He smiled then went to walk home going in. His parents came downstairs telling David to tell them where he is next time as they were really worried. He smelled dinner and smiled going to the bedroom. He got clothes taking a shower then dried off putting pjs on. He went downstairs to eat dinner then brushed his teeth when he was done. He sat down and pet his dog kissing his head. He smiled and read his book until he felt tired then put his books up turning the light off and fell asleep.
