Chapter 9: Mirror Gem

(Okay so this episode and the episode after will be where my character will be involved with the gems. You guys can tell me whether you guys have any ideas on what chapters you want me to do next.)

After breakfast, David finished brushing his teeth and washed up then he went in his room getting one of his video games going to ply one of them for a couple of hours. After it got to 12:00 noon, he went to turn his system off putting it up. He decided to stretch, put his socks and shoes on, getting his things and walked to the front door. He texted his parents that he was going outside to explore. He went to walk around Beach City trying to find something to do. He wondered if they had a website or calendar of activities they had throughout the year.

While he was walking, he saw Steven walking around with a mirror almost getting hit by Mayor Dewey's van. He ran towards him to make sure he was okay then heard the mirror scream "No!!" in his voice. He stopped asking Steven if he was okay and if that mirror could talk. Steven said "well it's complicated, Pearl gave me the mirror and it is different. David was surprised what Steven said. A couple of hours later, they were going towards the gems house with David texting his parents that he was going to be hanging out with friends but wouldn't be out too late. After that, they went in with Steven telling the Gems about the mirror. David went in too hoping that was okay and asked if there were always gems in mirrors like those. Pearl was shocked at what Steven and David said so Steven tried to show the gems that the mirror could talk but it did not work. Garnet tried to get Steven to give her the mirror but when she tried to grab it, it kept shouting No!! which caused Steven to push her hand back. He was surprised saying "I'm sorry" before running to the beach.

David ran too and saw Steven asking what the mirror wanted him to do. Steven and David were confused with Steven grabbing the gem off the back with caused the mirror to shatter and the gemstone to move turning into a woman with a gem on the back who fell on the ground. They ran to her asking if she was okay. Lapis said "you're Steven and David, right." They said yes. Lapis asked them if they were crystal gems. Steven said yes and David said no. Lapis was confused asking "why did you free me?" Steven was confused until Garnet screamed his name telling him to come back. Lapis started to use water to make a hand shouting "you knew I was trapped in that mirror for centuries and never wondered why it talked back!!" She attacked Garnet shouting that she was never going back. Steven and David told Lapis not to attack saying they were friends. Lapis started to stop making the sea spilt and said "we can go from them and be free." They both refused with Lapis going away who were shocked at what happened. Garnet told David to leave now. David was shocked at what happened telling them that he was gonna talk to the gems tomorrow about what happened. He started to leave going home not telling his parents about what happened. He sat down taking his socks and shoes off thinking about what happened. He smelled the food and went to the kitchen eating with his parents sitting down and talking.

(Okay so this is the next chapter. I hope you guys like it and tell me what you think about how I wrote it. Hey I have a couple ideas for this story. How do you guys feel about me using a version of bishop from TMNT 2003 for this fanfic. I might also not use some episodes that I don't really need to use.
