Chapter 22: The Return

David Hall was on the beach talking with the gems about the hand in the sky. He wondered how they were gonna deal with it. They told David that they would fuse into Alexandrite to stop the hand before it gets close. Once that happened, something was rumbling across the town then it stopped. Steven and Greg got there and the gems fused into Alexandrite. They went to combine their weapons into an arrow hoping that it would destroy the hand. The plan didn't work and the hand just went on as usual. It tried using a giant hammer from another fusion jumping up to it and trying to smash it but the finger just shot a laser blast that knocked the gems towards David, Steven, and Greg with them running before they got hit. The gems defused groaning not fighting anyone that size before.

After awhile, they got up and went to rest in the house and after that, Steven told the gems what he did and explained how everyone is leaving. Garnet said that we are gonna have to try again. They were feeling better and they had to try something.

Meanwhile, David was with his family trying to figure out what he was gonna do. He was helping pack up just in case but he still wanted to help the gems. After he was done packing up and loaded stuff in the car, he asked his family if he could check on the gems. His mom said that he could but he needed to be safe. He went to run towards the gems place taking his sword with him and he got a sheat from the gems to keep his sword in. While he was running, he stopped and noticed that the gems were trying again and failing. There were feeling better and they had to try something.

Meanwhile, David was with his family trying to figure out what he was gonna do. He was helping pack up just in case but he still wanted to help the gems. After he was done packing up and loaded stuff in the car, he asked his family if he could check on the gems. His mom said that he could but he needed to be safe. He went to run towards the gems place taking his sword with him and he got a sheat from the gems to keep his sword in.

While he was running, he stopped and noticed that the gems were trying again and failing. David panted for a bit and went to get to the beach seeing Steven and a couple gems coming out of the hand. The gem who was orange talked about how this would be a easy mission then saw the gems and David starting to ask Peridot to fire at them. The crystal gems argued that Steven and David had to go. Steven and David countered that this was their home and they needed to fight. Before they got blasted, Steven protected them with his shield. Jasper was shocked saying that someone called Yellow Diamond needed to see him. Garnet came out behind him and tried to punch Jasper with David running in to help too. Jasper got something out and went to use it in Garnet but David tried to use his elbow to jab her head and hit her stomach with the sword. It hit Jasper but it didn't hurt her much. Jasper tried to hit the human but he tried dodging it and tried to hit her again in the face but Jasper caught it before tossing David away and he went unconscious.

(Well I hope that you guys like this chapter. Next week is gonna be jailbreak and there is gonna be some extra content. Some hints could be a discussion with jasper, towards stuff like the diamonds, and fighting. Hey I have an idea before I make the chapter. How would you guys feel if I made Jasper interrogate my oc and Steven? Maybe have the fight between Garnet and Jasper off-screen while my oc and Steven try to escape and add more details.)
