Chapter Thirteen | The Attack

Anya opened her eyes and found herself in a dark dungeon. She was tied up, and she was surrounded by monsters. Ethan was standing over her, a cruel smile on his face.

"Welcome back," he said. "I hope you had a good rest."

Anya glared at him. "How could you do this?" she asked. "You betrayed us."

Ethan shrugged. "I'm just doing what's best for me," he said. "The scientists have promised me great power. With their help, I can rule the world."

Anya shook her head. "You're a fool," she said. "The scientists will never let you rule anything. They'll just use you, and then they'll throw you away."

Ethan laughed. "We'll see about that," he said.

Ethan turned to the monsters. "Take her away," he said.

The monsters grabbed Anya and dragged her out of the dungeon. They took her to a large chamber, where the scientists were waiting for her.

The leader of the scientists, a man named Dr. Evil, stepped forward. "Hello, Anya," he said. "It's good to see you again."

Anya glared at him. "What do you want with me?" she asked.

Dr. Evil smiled. "We want your power," he said. "We're going to use your power to create an army of super-soldiers. With this army, we will rule the world."

Anya shook her head. "I'll never let you do that," she said.

Dr. Evil laughed. "We'll see about that," he said.

Dr. Evil ordered the scientists to begin the experiment. The scientists attached Anya to a machine and began to siphon off her power.
