Gaara's P.O.V
Around the middle of the night, Crystal started to shiver. There weren't any covers over her so that's probably why. As i was pulling some of the covers over her. She reached out and pulled me down. I was right next to her, she was hugging me, i laid absolutely still.
Crystal: " Gaara? "
I looked down into her dark brown eyes. They showed a certain sadness. The same sadness as mine. The sadness of being alone.
Crystal: " Could you be my teddy bear? "
" Yeah."
She smiled at me and snuggled close to me. Seeing her smile brought a warmth to my heart, slowly i wrapped my arms around her and for the first time in a very long time, i felt happy.
Your P.O.V
I woke to the sun shinning on my eyes.
Gaara: " Your awake. "
I rubbed my eyes as i yawned. Gaara let go of me only to take my hand and without a word lead me downstairs.
As we entered the what i guess is the living room, two people turned from the couch to look at us. I slid behind Garra to try and hide myself, but Garra just stepped away, letting go of my hand. Which left me feeling rather alone and exposed.
Gaara: " This is crystal. She has no where to go. So she will be joining us. "
The two kids just stared at me for a moment. Then the one that looked kinda like a cat jumped towards me.
He didn't get very far after that, because i kicked, sending him flying into the far wall, leaving a decent sized dent.
As he slid down the wall, the other kid with her blond hair up in four pigtails, started to laugh. She walked up to me and held out her hand.
???: " Hey, i'm Temari and that..." She pointed with her thumb to the boy knocked out on the floor. " is my brother Kuncuro. I'm pretty sure you already know our brother Gaara. "
I only shook her hand and nodded.
Gaara: "Temari wake Kuncuro, were going to train. "
Gaara turned and started to walk away, I ran after him as Temari started slapping Kuncuro's face to wake him up.
We reached the training grounds and i was paired up with Temari. Kuncuro and Garra took one half of the training field. So Temari and i took the other half.
I could guess she was a wind user from the fan on her back, but she couldn't guess what i used because i had no ninja element tool with me.
Temari: " Wind Scythe Justu. "
She swung her fan at me and a huge gust of wind was headed straight for me. By making the necessary signs, i made a substitution and hid underground. The wind killed my clone and Temari looked around confused trying to find where i went.
My hands popped out from the ground and froze her legs in solid ice to right above her knees. Then i came completely out of the ground and aimed a kick for her face. Temari bent back just enough to dodge it. Then she tried to swing her fan at me, only to find out her fan frozen to the ground.
I smirked as i landed a punch to her gut and she flew into a tree, snapping it in half, but stopping at the next one.
Temari was able to stand, but said she gave up. Over the next few weeks i stayed with them. A different person to spar against each time we trained. I won each time. Even against Gaara, because my water rendered his sand useless..
After maybe 4 or 5 weeks of living with the sand siblings. I was starting to feel at home.
One time before the siblings had to go on a mission. It was just me and Gaara sitting on top of the Kazehoke building. It was near dawn, just a few stars left out in the sky.
Gaara: " Here. "
He pressed something small and cold into my palm. I opened up my hand to find a small glass teddy bear necklace.
" Thank you Gaara. "
Gaara: " I made it. "
I looked at him and smiled. Gaara smiled back a little bit.
" You will always be my teddy bear though. "
Gaara: " I know. "
I gave Gaara a quick hug, to which he actually returned, before he left on his mission. I watched as my small group of friends walked off through the gates and just sat there as the day turned to night.
It wasn't until i felt the jab in my neck and my vision turned dark. That i realized i was in some serious trouble.
Gaara's P.O.V
I was sitting in a tree as the rest of the group slept. For some reason, i fell like Crystal is in trouble. Something just is'nt right.
When we got back from our mission. There wasn't a trace of Crystal in the whole village. I couldn't find her any wear. She probably left because she found out of the monster i am.
