Your P.O.V
In the few weeks i've been here, i slept in Naruto's guest room and Kakashi trained me every now and then.
One day after training Kakashi gave me a piece of paper saying it was for the chinin exams. I had nothing to lose, so i filled it out and stuck it in my pocket.
On the way home though i felt some familiar chakra. It can't be them? can it? I took off full speed down the street. As i rounded the corner there they were.
" TEMARI!! "
Temari jerked her head in the direction of my voice, but i doubt she saw me before i tackled her into a hug.
Kuncuro: " Cry...Crystal? "
I let go of Temari to look at Kuncuro. He was holding one of nii-san's little friends up by his scarf. It looked like the poor child was choking.
I pointed to the ground.
" Bad kitty. Put him down...Nicely. "
Kuncuro slowly put Konohamaru down, while glaring at me.
Kuncuro: " I am not a kitty. "
" Sure you aren't, hey were's..."
???: " You two are a disgrace to are village. "
" Gaara..."
I turned my head to see him standing upside down in a tree, He stared right back, but his eyes now held a lot of anger with the sadness.
Kuncuro started freaking out beside me, Temari just didn't move at all.
Sand swirled around Gaara and he disappeared, only to re-appear behind his siblings.
Gaara: " Let's go. "
They started to walk away, but Sasuke decided to make an idiot of himself.
Sasuke: " Hold it. What's your name? "
Temari blushed a little. Really, he is so not her type.
Temari: " Me? "
Sasuke: " No, the one with the gourd on his back. "
" His name is Gaara. Didn't you hear it the first 3 times it was said. "
Sasuke kinda glared at me, but i glared right back, making him turn away.
Gaara: " Yes my name is Garra of the Desert. What is your name? "
Sasuke: " Sasuke Uchiha."
Gaara turned to look at me and i could see a small bit of recongnition in his eyes: " and who are you? "
That made me frown.
" You really don't remember me Gaara? Your siblings did. "
He only continued his stare. I sighed.
" It's me Crystal, i used to live with you guys a few years ago. "
Gaara: " I only remember a girl who left us after realizing the monster i was."
He...he thought i ran away from them? They didn't look for me then. He thought i thought he was a monster. I didn't, i was kidnapped.
I started to tear up as i stood there.
" I would never run away from you. You are not..." My voice broke and my eyes betrayed me as the tears slipped freely down my cheeks. " not a monster...I was freakin KIDNAPPED. I...i thought i would never see you guys again. I guess i was wrong. You didn't care for me, in the same way i cared for you. "
No one moved, no one spoke, only the wind made any noise.
After standing there for a minute and nothing happening, but my tears falling to the ground. Gaara showed no sorrow or regret. He wasn't showing any emotions at all. I couldn't take it any more. I ran, i ran out of the village, i ran into the woods and i just kept on running.
Now the moon was high up in the sky. Just a few clouds floated along. A small breeze rustled the branches around me.
I sat in a tree, just holding my legs to my chest and staring at the sky. That is until a certain red head decided to show up. He stood in front of me and didn't say anything for a few minutes.
Gaara: " What happened? "
" What? When i was kidnapped from my first home? When i was forcefully taken against my will from the people i cared about? "
Gaara only nodded.
" I stayed on top of the kasihoke building for the rest of the day. Once it was night, someone knocked me out. I woke up in a room with dark, dirt covered walls, and this man who really made me think of a snake came towards me with a needle in his hand. It was like that for 2 years. I was tortured and i kept thinking on how i missed you guys. How i missed you Gaara. "
It was silent. Gaara never said a word, he only glared at the ground. I sighed and jumped down from my spot in the tree, landing silently on the ground.
" I just want my teddy bear back. "
Gaara's P.O.V
I just heard why she left. She really didn't think i was a monster. Why does the man she described sound like orechimaru?
Crystal sighed and jumped out of the tree, landing without a sound. As she walked away i heard her say quietly: " I just want my teddy bear back. "
She still called me her teddy bear....Why does she make me feel....different?
Crystal had already disappeared into the night, so i sat down on the branch and watched the sky for the rest of the night.
