Ryuto Kurosawa (Formerly Ryuto Tachibana) is a supporting character in "Hybrid Pretty Cure: The Last Hope and the father of both Dia and Ruby Kurosawa.  He is the Leader of a secret society called: the Starry Promenade Association and the Co-Head of Kurosawa Entertainment.

He is married to a woman from an old family involved in fishing management whose name is well-known around the area. The Kurosawa family also owns many companies including real estate, and entertainment, where he was once a producer, human resources and restaurant management.

Appearance:
He has a tall but muscular body and short hair that is the same colour as Ruby's.

Usually, he wears a pink polo tee with a red collar and a placket. He also has a Sakura pink wristband on his left hand. His blue slackers are tightened with a dark green belt that has a greyish-blue buckle. He also has emerald green slip-on sneakers with yellow socks underneath.

His sneakers are complicated as it has an orange heel and a violet sole.

Personality:
Sassy, and confident for a middle-aged man, but also caring, forgiving and protective of those he loves.

He is easily adaptable to change like his youngest daughter and he means well. He can get tempered but still keep his ground and made sure everyone is safe. Because of this, he can be slightly rebellious at times, being an anti-authoritarian and wanting to embrace the abnormal. This is why he never wanted to stick to traditions like arranged marriages which the whole family is running away from.

Thanks to his open mind, he was able to not only support his daughter's interests but also bring up other stuff besides the news to his daughters when his in-laws are not around. He believed that anything can happen everywhere like Korea's black ocean for example.

He loves to encourage everyone and does not have difficulty getting along with everyone he meets. He has a habit of using catchphrases for himself like saying: "This Ryuto can't be stopped!"(Ryutomaranai (リュ斗まらない)) whenever he gets fired up. It's a portmanteau between "tomaranai (とまらない, unstoppable) and his own name. This catchphrase habit gets passed down to Ruby and Dia as they were given catchphrases of their own.

Thanks to his anti-authoritarian and informal approach, he would call people younger than him "kiddo", a friendly way to speak to a child, although they are beyond the age of a child and those older than him by their first name, despite his rich background. He has a habit to give nicknames to those really close to him, like Mari.

Despite all of that, he can get scared sometimes. And rather emotional too. When he sees Ruby and Dia debut as school idols for the first time, he can't help but cry tears of joy when they reach home for the night.

Trivia:
-Due to the limited information provided about the Kurosawa parents, many fanfic writers go by the book, deriving Dia and Ruby's father as the strict no-nonsense guy. This case is different, however, as his character and personality were inspired by characters like Vice from Kamen Rider Revice, Eda Clawthrone from The Owl House and Zyuran from Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger.

-The fact that Ruby and Dia are only allowed to watch the news stems from their maternal grandparents and not their parents due to Ryuto's rebellious nature. It was also because of the Love Live Law, that limits his freedom of speech, allowing only words from his wife to seep through.

-His outfit consists of the image colours of every member of Aqours.
