As far as I know, these are just a list of head canons in my fanseries that I made up that isn't confirmed as of yet in the respective fandoms.
Here's the list: Pretty Cure 1) The past Pretty Cures growing up and living their own lives despite their close bonds. Their grown-up appearance must be shown. —This is heavily inspired by Super Sentai. Especially when it's a live-action multi-series and shows like Gokaiger show the past Sentai heroes' lives after their fight accurately. They often do this by bringing back actors who portrayed the heroes in their prime to show how the characters aged up with the fanbase who started Super Sentai because of the series they are in. This is also true in Kamen rider but their lives after the Rider's main fight weren't shown well. (This is also applicable to its American and Korean counterparts: Power rangers as well) —That also defies and debunks the anime logic since every time the past pretty cures appear it's always their nine to eleven to thirteen to seventeen-year-old selves.

One example would be the oldest leaders out there. Akaranger and Kamen rider Ichigo. Or lesser known: Tsuyoshi Kaijo and Takeshi Hongo. They are really old and they debuted in the 1970s. It's obvious that they aged up with the characters alongside the actors portraying them. Quality improved with age I guess.

Here's another example that might hit closer to home for the youngins. Gokai red and Go-On red, Red Ranger from the first Morphin Power Rangers and of course world wide fan-favourite: Tommy Oliver (Rest in peace). Of course, if there is more let me know in the comments.
(Edit as of 30/09/2023: So Otona Precure already confirms that Yes Pretty Cure 5 and Splash Star will show their adult selves and it's gonna be cannon for them. Their jobs are uncertain. I talked about it more in the conservations tab)
