Black hated waiting, especially with a creep who couldn't get his eyes off of his baby brother. He tried to ignore it, focusing on the building. The hours passed, and nothing was happening. The guard were on their spots, not moving. They had already eaten all the dried meat, and White pulled out his homemade protein bars. Of course, he offered them to that asshole's gang too.

"Something is happening." Gram pointed at the people coming out of the building. They were dressed in white coats, talking animatedly. Black couldn't hear the conversation from the distance, but there was no need to. The familiar sound of the approaching vehicle ripped through the air, and soon, the gate opened, letting the black Jeep ride inside. The doctors, scientists or whoever it was stood in line, waiting for the car to open and reveal a familiar face.

"The fuck that bitch is doing here?" Black cursed.

"Do you know him?" Sean asked.

"He was at the dinner we had with our mother and her lover." White didn't specify the name, but Black was sure those three already knew who he was talking about.

"But we don't know his name or occupation," White explained further. The group welcomed the man, and they walked inside the building. To their surprise, the guard from the entrance went in with them, leaving only the two from the gate outside.

"I told you the opportunity would come." Sean smiled at White, and he returned it.

"We should move to the back of the building. There are more trees, and the shade can hide us better. Gram, check the GPS. Is anyone else near?" Black instructed. He expected no one would listen to him, but Gram did what he wanted, and the rest of the group prepared to leave.

"I have two news. No one is near. Most contestants are at the fifth or sixth location. Better say the ones that are left." Gram announced. Black leaned over, inhaling the smell of sweet syrup from the taller male. He had to admit, he quite liked it. Dismissing the stupid thought, Black glanced at the small monitor. Most of the black dots were now red. This game was an absolute bloodbath.

"What's the second news?" Yok asked curiously.

"Congratulations on your deaths." Gram grinned, showing them the red dots belonging to them.

"P'Black, they will contact P'Todd." White looked at him with teary eyes.

"Shit. I didn't think about this." Black cursed.

"What happened?" Sean put a hand on White's shoulder.

"They will contact our friend, and he will tell our dad." White sniffed.

"Our dad won't survive this." He added. Black stood up, suddenly wanting to abandon everything, grab his baby brother, run to the finish line and call their dad. They didn't plan to pretend to be dead. Todd didn't know about it, and there was no way to contact him. Sean's group looked at them, sad and lost like them.

"I am sorry we can't help. By now, Gumpa knows we are in the middle of the mission. He may send the drone to look for us, but we can't be sure." Sean said, wiping the tears from White's cheeks.

"We have to finish this quickly and return home." Black glared at Sean.

"Yeah, let's start." Sean agreed.
