"You can't be serious, P'Black!" White shouted as soon as they stepped inside their house. He was too shocked to say anything during the taxi ride home, but now he was fully aware of the stupid challenge his brother got himself into and the possible consequences of it.
"I am. I am going to show him he shouldn't mess with Pothiyakorns." Black hissed, walking to his room. White was following him, all scared and angry.
"Do you know what you did? It's Hunt, P'Black! In Dark Forest! This place is forbidden for a reason!" He shouted. His brother ignored him, taking off the button-up shirt and tossing it on the floor. White picked it up angrily, lying it on the bed instead.
"The high brick walls and electrical wires are not there as a decoration! You know how many fools got in every Hunt, and only a few managed it out alive. You can count it on the fingers of one hand!" White cried. His whole body shook with rage while his twin dressed in his usual attire as if nothing happened.
"Are you listening to me? What if you..." White didn't even want to think about it. The mere thought of losing his beloved brother, his other half, made him nauseous.
"Breath, White." Black's hands wrapped around his waist, pulling him to his chest.
"I know you are scared and angry. I know what I am doing."
"Really?" White pulled away, looking straight into his brother's eyes.
"How will you register? You aren't of a legal age yet."
"Tawi will let me in," Black answered confidently, and White had to acknowledge his brother was probably right. Tawi wouldn't miss out on the fun.
"Fine. The weapons? Where will you get them? They are not sold in the mall. Do you think you can put on a mask, walk the streets and buy them illegally? Are you that stupid?" White frowned.
"Todd," Black stated. White glared at him.
"So you will speak with 'PTodd after you forbid me to even look his way?" White folded his arms in front of his chest.
"Hypocrite." He huffed.
"Look, White. I am going in despite your disagreement. You won't change my mind."
White's eyes watered. His stupid brother was already decided, and there was no way White could convince him otherwise.
"And what about dad? How will you tell him." He hiccuped.
"I will tell him I reconciled with Todd. And stay with him for a week." They fell into silence.
"I am going with you." White decided, wiping his tears. He could feel Black panicking through their bond.
"No. Not a chance." Black refused.
"If you are going, I am going too." White settled his eyes on his twin.
"No, are you insane? You can't fight, White. You are too slow and too fragile. No way in hell!" Black was now one shouting, and White thought how long it would take for the housemaid to come and check on them.
"You can train me. We still have three days." White argued.
"No, and no." Black shook his head.
"I am smarter than you. I will be the brain and you the fists." White wrapped his arms around Black's waist, propping his chin on his shoulder.
"We can do it togahter, P'Black."
He watched the expression change on his brother's face, his fist clenching and unclenching.
"Fine. But you will do everything I will tell you." Black growled, wrapping his arms around him.
Later that day, Black contacted Todd. Their childhood friend was surprised but didn't argue when he requested a meeting. White buried himself in the depths of the internet and gathered all the information on the Dark Forest and Tawi Corp. White, during the dinner, mentioned how they met Todd. And how they talked about the misunderstanding from their childhood. Black added Todd invited them to the small reconciling vacation to his summer house. Their father listened to them with a smile, not knowing that all the words coming from their mouth were lies. He agreed to let them go with Todd. White hated to lie to his dad, but it was for his sake.
