A/N: So I just wanted to warn you guy's about two things. Number one Alec gives a big speech about himself and I broke it up. It's in separate little chunks I did this hoping it would be easier to read.

Number two this chapter is a bit...NC- 18, things get a little steamy between Alec and Renesmee. Some people might think it's pretty tame. Other people might thinks its... a little too sexy. Hey some people are more sensitive than others. I get it, but I don't want to rate the whole book Mature just for one (or more) little scene. So you've been warned!

Renesmee's POV

When we pull up to his place it's an apartment complex. A new one by the looks of it, it has a garage and everything. Alec uses a white card to get into the garage. From there we take an elevator to the fourth floor. When we get into his apartment I'm impressed. It's like an upscale teen/bachelor pad. There's a big white couch in front of a top of the line entertainment system. That I'm sure Uncle Emmett helped him pick out and set up. He gives me a tour of the rest of the house which is just as glamorous as the front of the room. What surprises me is that there's a king sized bed in his bed room.

"Vampires don't sleep" I said questioningly

"I like having it...just in case" he said sending tingles up my spine.

"In case of what?" I ask

He looks embarrassed "are you thirsty?" he asks.

"Yes" I said honestly, he takes my hand and leads me back to the living room.

"What would you like?" he asks

"Water" my mouth is really dry. He gives me a bottle of water and we sit on the couch.

"So how did you end up with them? The Volturi?" I ask. He shifts uncomfortably "I'm sorry I didn't mean to pry"

"It's alright I want to tell you. It's just I haven't talked about it before. Ever"

I'm  kind of shocked "you don't have to tell me, I don't want to push you"

"It's aright" he said. We sit on the couch facing each other, Alec takes a deep breath.

"I was born in England around 800 A.D., we lived with our parents. Jane and I, my father was a Frankish solider. My memories of them are a little scattered. Jane and I had strong psychic abilities, when we were young. I mean our abilities were evident when we were still human.

I guess that's how Aro found out about us. I remember the first time I saw Aro. Jane and I were playing in a field behind our home. He came up to us, pretending he wanted to be friends. But I knew what he really wanted, and when he asked us to show him.

I said no but Jane she really liked Aro and I guess she wanted to impress him. So she showed him what she could do. He visited us many more times, always in secret so our parents wouldn't know. As we got older our powers were more obvious, the people in our village...they. They found our abilities disturbing, I guess they had a reason too.

Our abilities weren't focused at the time but...people who were unkind to us or our parents. Well bad things happened to them, and people that were kind to our family. They tended to have good luck. Eventually the more...superstitious locals...they found us to frightening to live."

I can't help the shocked gasp that escapes me. But Alec continues without stopping, like he needs to get it all out.

"They broke into our home, mother took us and we went out the back door. But not before I saw them kill my father. We didn't get too far when the mob caught up with us" his eyes get dry and his voice breaks a little.
