Jacob's POV
After I left Nessie the other night I ran around for a while in my wolf form and ended up back at the hotel. Naomi was just as upset as I was, her mom had called her and chewed her out about our relationship. She even almost cried, I told her what happened with Nessie. We were mopey and sad for a while but, then we started drinking from the mini bar in the room. After that the night got considerably better.
We drank and...well we had sex, all night. It was even better now because I wasn't lying anymore, I didn't feel guilty anymore. I felt pretty good until I woke up the next morning with a pounding headache and someone pounding on the door.
"Who the hell is that?" Naomi asks covering her head with a pillow
"Your mom maybe?" I said guessing. She sighs angrily, slips on my shirt and her pants on her way to the door. She looks through the peephole.
"Shit!" she said walking over to me. I slip my pants on and look through the peephole. I see a very pissed off Bella staring at me
"Crap!" I said
"Uh oh!" Naomi exclaims before putting her hand over her mouth and running into the bathroom. She locks the door and I hear her throw up violently.
"You can't hide in there forever Jacob!" Bella yells in her high pitched, bell like voice.
I sigh run my fingers through my hair and open the door. I step outside so I can put some distance between Bella and Naomi. Bella takes in my appearance and scoffs, she rakes her hands through her hair and turns around.
"Bella... I-"
"You what Jake?" she said not turning around. "What can you possibly have to say?" she asks. I can hear the pain, betrayal, and disappointment in her voice. And just like that the pain from yesterday is back with a vengeance.
"Bells I didn't mean to hurt anyone I swear" I said pleadingly.
"That doesn't matter now Jacob because you've already hurt people, me included" she said. "How could you?" she said turning around with the tearless vamp crying face.
"I don't know it just-"
"It just happened really Jake!" Bella said pissed "Why...how could you do this to her?" she demands.
"I-"
"She's not enough for you? Is that what it is? How are you even allowed to do this?" she yells cutting me off.
"Allowed?" I ask getting angry
"You imprinted on her" she said
I honestly hadn't really thought about that part "I...don't have anything to say that's going to make this... situation any better" I said slowly. "You'll still hate me" I said looking down
"I don't think I hate you Jacob but-"
"Then stop calling me Jacob, what happened to Jake?" I ask.
"Because Jake my friend...he would have never done this. That guy was- he was always honest. I'm not sure if I even know who you are right now" she said.
Her words hit me like a ton of bricks
"She's my daughter Jacob and when we came home she was screaming and crying. She was completely devastated" Bella said getting angry.
What she said was odd then I remembered that Ness was having Isabelle related nightmares. And I'll be dammed if I'm going to take a whipping for something that wasn't my fault.
"Was she devastated over me or some Isabelle nightmare...you know you can't blame everything on me you know. It's not my fault that your daughters a danger magnet. But you shouldn't be surprised like mother like daughter ri-" I'm cut off mid-sentence.
