Chapter 25: Epilogue

In May Rory, Logan, and Avery flew to California for Ollie's college graduation.

"I don't see him" Avery said

"He said to wait here and he'll come to us" Logan said

A little while later Ollie found them and they were talking about his plans for the next year when Eleanor walked up behind Ollie and put her hand on his shoulder. "Hi"

"Hey" Ollie said and put his hand on her back. He thought it was funny that even though they'd been together since the beginning of their freshman year and she'd spent many weekends, and even a few holidays with his family, she still wouldn't kiss him in front of them.

"Hi Eleanor" Rory said.

"How are you?" Logan asked

"Good. Excited" Eleanor said

"Can I try on your hat?" Avery asked

"Here Bean" Ollie said and took of his cap, putting it on Avery's head.

"Look, I'm graduating" Avery giggled

"Yeah, you've got 10 years until that's true" Ollie said

"Not of we're talking about high school. Then it's only 6"

"Give me my cap"

An hour later they were sitting, watching the graduates walk across the stage.

"Eleanor Elisabeth Hunter"

"Take a picture" Rory said. "I don't know if her family's here"

"Oliver Richard Huntzberger-Carter"

"He's got a lot of names" Avery said

"Yes, he does"

The following week was Oliver's graduation, and the weekend after that Rory and Logan had a graduation party for both of them. 

After the party Rory and Logan were snuggled up on an outdoor couch on the patio.

"2 college graduates" Rory said

"Good majors too" Logan said.

"Law, medicine, computer science. I wonder what Avery's gonna want to do with her life"

"She's gonna be an actress or something like that" Logan said. Avery was really into acting and dance. She was in her school play every year, and participated in every talent show. "I can tell"

"We got some pretty great kids, didn't we?"

"Yeah, we did"

Oliver went on to become a very successful lawyer. He met his wife Jenna in 2037 and they got married in 2041. They had 3 kids. Emily Jane Huntzberger was born on October 5th 2043, Thomas Logan Huntzberger was born on April 23rd 2046, and Samuel Lucas Huntzberger was born April 23rd 2046.

Ollie went on to become one of the top neurosurgeons in the United States. He and Eleanor got married in 2037 and had 3 kids. Olivia Anne Huntzberger was born on July 6th 2039, Evelyn Rose Huntzberger was born on January 1st 2042, and Sophie Victoria Huntzberger was born on May 20th 2045.

Amelia became a software developer. She and Daniel got married in 2040 and had 2 kids. Ethan Alexander Johnson was born on June 9th 2045, and Lorelai rose Johnson was born on November 12th 2050.

Despite Logan's prediction, Avery became a psychiatrist. She married her husband Gabriel in 2052, and they had one daughter. Emma Ruby Cooper was born on September 23rd 2056.
