When I woke up the next morning I was relieved to see Noah had taken my threat seriously. I hopped into the shower so when I got ready for the party later I could skip that step.
I was singing along to the music blaring from my radio when I looked up and saw Noah standing there. "God you pervert, get out of my bathroom!," I screech.
I know what you're thinking; how can my parents not hear me scream, well they're pretty oblivious when I comes to me.
"Sorry I have to pee, you have a good voice by the way," he says smirking. "Whatever just get out," I say obviously annoyed.
I make sure to change into my clothes in the bathroom. I don't want Noah to see anymore of me than he already has.
When I walk out Noah is standing there smiling at me. "Get that smirk off your face before I slap it off you," I say in an annoyed tone. "Oh please Emmy like you would hit me, now go get me breakfast please," he says.
"Fine but don't expect me to be nice to you," I say. "I wouldn't expect anything less," he snorts.
When I grab two plates my parents look at me funny "Um honey why do you have two plates?," my mom asks. "Oh um I'm trying to gain a little weight, I want to join the girl's wrestling team," I come up with it so quickly. "Good put yourself out there honey," my parents say leaving me to go to work.
I jog back up the stairs with two plates in my hands and when I open the door I see Noah, shirtless. His abs are the most gorgeous things I've ever seen.
"Hey Emmy you might want to close your mouth, you might catch flies," he says laughing.
I feel myself blushing, god that was embarrassing. "Um...uh sorry Noah," I say. He just brushes me off and asks me if I'm going to the party later and I tell him that I am.
"Do you want a ride there?," he asks. "Uh sure thanks," I say. Why was I blessed with the gift of awkwardness?
When the time comes I get dressed and put on some natural makeup. I also curl my stick straight brown hair. I choose this navy blue three quarter sleeve dress.
When I walk out I see Noah gawking at me, I blush. "Wow, Emmy you look hot," he says. "Thanks I guess I should be bowing down right about now," I say. He just laughs and shakes his head.
When we get to the party I look for my best friend, Nicole. She hands me a drink and I take a sip. "What are you doing here with Noah?," she asks.
"It's kind of a long story, but he's living in my room for now, his dad kicked him out and I felt bad," I say.
"Emilia, you can't let people walk all over you, and I can't believe you didn't tell me! I wish I had him in my bed," she says smiling. "Ewww god no! I make him sleep on the floor,"
"Too bad I would love to wake up to him," she says. I think of this morning and the way it felt to have his arm around me. No Emilia you hate him this is a temporary thing.
Nicole and I say our goodbyes and five drinks later I can hardly stand. I see Noah across the room and walk up to him.
"Hey how's the party for you," I say slurring. He chuckles, "Someone had too much to drink, let me take you home," he says taking my arm. "Get off me!," I shout.
Noah doesn't listen to me and we go home. I am too drunk and I fall asleep in his car so he has to quietly sneak into the house with me giggling.
Good thing my parents are so naive or I would be in big trouble. The last thing I remember is Noah forcing me to drink a cup of water before bed. I also heard the words,"I've missed you so much Emmy."Author's Note
