Author's Note:
First of all, that is Jace at the top, and second of all I could make this Author's Note as long as this chapter itself, but I won't. I should call this a rant, but I won't. If you don't like the fact Alec is gay, and think it is, and I quote, "gross," then don't read this story. Last time I checked I, nor anyone else are forcing you to read this book. Moving along I hope you all enjoy this chapter! Please vote and comment, but if you are going to leave hate just go somewhere else because I don't tolerate that behavior. Also make sure to enjoy that song at the top..it's called My Gospel by Charlie Puth. Thanks:) and until next time...

~The Late Night Book Addiction

Noah's POV:
"What? That doesn't make any sense Alec, I've know you for a while, and all you talk about is sleeping with girls!" I exclaim.
"Yeah, well my parents won't exactly approve, we are Catholic you know. That's why they aren't here, I told them and they kicked me out." Alec says sadly.
I have a perfect idea, I haven't told Emilia about it yet, but I got an apartment. It just doesn't feel right living in her house when we are dating. Now that Alec's parents have kicked him out he could be my roommate! Now that I know Alec wasn't purposely trying to hurt our relationship, he can be my roommate.
"Hey Alec, I don't really care if your gay. Seeing as you need a place to live, I got a new apartment and I kinda need a roommate, so will you be my roomie?" I ask.
Alec smiles like a goofball before nodding his head. We talk a little bit more before I give him a spare key that I have to my apartment. Now I have to break the news to Emilia that I won't be living there anymore. I really don't want to tell her, I don't like seeing the hurt look in her eyes.
I ride my bike back to Emilia's house and wait for her in her bedroom. It's already 5:00 at night, where could she be? Fifteen more minutes pass, then 30, then 45.
Where could Emmy be? I decided I would wait for 5 more minutes, and if there wasn't a sign of her I would call the police. Five more minutes passed and I ran to get my cell phone that I had left here before school. Right next to my phone was an envelope addressed to me in Emilia's handwriting:
Dear Noah,
I found the lease to your apartment, and I don't understand why you wouldn't tell me. I am very hurt that you have been keeping this from me, so I'm spending the night at Amy's. Please don't try to call me, I just need some time, and don't come looking for me either. I hope that you can see what you did was wrong. I love you, nothing will change that
Love Always,
Emilia.

I knew I shouldn't have left those papers in my binder. She probably found them when she went to do her homework. She has the same binder as me, so she could have easily mistaken it. I know she told me not to come see her..but I have to.

Emilia's POV:
I can't believe Noah is moving out, I know that sneaking around and having him live in the house is wrong, but I love having him there.
Amy was very understanding when I asked her if I could stay here, so right now we are just doing our homework.
"Why do you think Noah didn't tell you about his apartment?" Amy asks me.
"I don't know. Maybe he didn't want to hurt me, or maybe he wasn't ready to tell me, but it still wasn't right," I say.
"Well if Sam ever did that to me-," she stops, realizing what she's said.
"Amy, is there something I should know," I say smiling at her. Her and Sam had been acting flirty since they met, and she had been acting strange lately.
Amy blushes and refuses to look me in the eyes. "Well?" I say smiling.
"Sam kind of, um, asked me to be his girlfriend." She says smiling. I hug her and tell her how happy I am for her, but we are quickly interrupted by the door opening.
Standing in the doorway is Noah. I asked him to stay away, but I guess he didn't listen.
"What are you doing here Noah," I say with a sigh.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you, it's just that I wasn't even sure if I was ready to move out. I just got a job at that Frankie's Diner, and I wasn't even sure if I would take it or if I would move out. I'm really sorry Emilia, I was going to tell you, I just found out about the apartment yesterday." He says.
I don't look at Noah in the eyes because I know they make me melt and I will forgive him.
"Will you please forgive me Emilia?" He asks desperately.
"Yeah, just don't keep anything else from me, always be honest," I say hugging him.
"I love you Emmy," he says.
"Love you too asshole," I reply before kissing him on the cheek. He quickly fills me in on the visit to Alec at the hospital and Matt threatening him, he says he can't tell me why though.
I understand why he won't tell me, it is Alec's secret after all, not his. Noah us now taking me to Barnes and Noble so that I can buy a few books. Amy doesn't mind that I'm ditching her to hang out with Noah, apparently she has a date with Sam tonight anyways.
Noah and I are roaming around the YA shelves when I finally see a book I want. The book is "The Fault in Our Stars" by John Green. I quickly buy it at the counter and sit in an oversized chair to start reading.
I've been reading for about 30 minutes before Noah comes back from doing some browsing and taps my shoulder. The book was just getting good so I look up at him irritated, "May I help you?" I say raising an eyebrow.
"Yes, I want to go and cuddle with my girlfriend at her house," he says with a smirk.
"Unless you are Augustus Waters, access denied," I say laughing before going back to my book. I get so caught up in the story that I don't notice Noah behind me.
Noah lifts me off the ground and throws me over his shoulders and tickling me. This boy will be the death of me, I swear.
"I'll stop if you agree to go to the mountain again," he says chuckling.
"Never, give me your worst," I say laughing too.
"I guess I'll just have to force you to come with me then," he says carrying me out of Barnes and Noble and putting me in the car.
I remember the route we took last time, so it's pretty familiar. It's still so beautiful as the first time.
"Nothing can compare to how beautiful you are Emmy," Noah says tucking some loose hairs behind my ear. I guess I said that out loud.
I just blush, not knowing what to say.
"You're not so bad yourself, Noah," I say. It's true, I haven't met someone as handsome as Noah.
We sit down in the same spot, sitting there for hours. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, right then, everything is perfect. I lean my head in the crook of Noah's arm and sigh, content with this moment.
"Hey Noah, can I ask you something," I say.
"You just did, but sure baby," he says with a soft smile.
"Do you believe in fairy tales, like happy endings?" I ask because honestly I am curious.
"Yeah, I think I do. I didn't before, but I do now all because of one story. There was a boy who thought he had lost everything. Everything that was good in this world, he just didn't see any point in this world, but then he met a girl that changed everything. She was beautiful, not just in the pretty face way, but her face, her soul, her whole being was beautiful, and she made him believe, she made him believe even the craziest myths like the loch ness monster are real," Noah replies.
After that I don't know what to say, so we just fall back into the silence.
"Thank you, Noah says.
"For what?" I ask.
"For being that girl," he says before we just lay there in silence.

Hope you enjoyed that chapter. Vote and comment!
