Hi, pookies!!! There's a bit to explain here, so just stay with me.

These oneshots will be written in the au I used for an Espresseleine fanfiction I wrote called Please Don't Tell My Parents. You don't have to read it to understand the oneshots since it's pretty simple, but if you wanna... that's cool too 🙃

I'll sum up the au rq if you don't wanna read / haven't read it: Basically, Espresso and Latte are twin siblings and Espresso's father and mother are physically and mentally abusive towards him—Latte's the favorite child but their parents constantly deny it. When it comes to Espresso's grades in school, his parents are very, very strict. They have these impossibly high standards for Espresso, which when he meets them, they deny setting their standards that low and raise them higher. They tell him to try harder and maybe then he'll get their love next time. This all ends up with Espresso becoming a workaholic and a perfectionist, always craving attention from his parents. At their high school, Espresso and Madeleine get partnered up for a school project and they fall in love. And then they all live happily ever after...~

As you may have already guessed from the trigger warnings, these oneshots will mainly be angst with Espresso as a young child still living with his abusive parents before he met Madeleine. Like, they'll be 90% angst. Probably more, tbh. I really like writing angst. >_< There will be some Espresseleine stuff too so don't worry. I probably won't write any smut because I suck at writing it, I'm aroace, and I'm just not really comfortable with writing it so sorry if that's what you came here to read 🥲 MAYBE in the future.

Also, I might take requests in the future??? I'm definitely not prepared to be taking them right now because I already know I'll get overwhelmed (Even if only like two people request. I get overwhelmed easily, stfu 💀), but I might in the future!

I'll be slow to update this and I'm really sorry, but I already know I'm not going to get that much motivation to write this...

I'll try to find fanart for all the chapters but probably won't, so... idk, just don't expect a fanart that fits the oneshot every time lmao :,D (There's not a lot of fanart of Espresso being physically abused, believe it or not. /j) I'll probably use some of Avogado6's art too bc their art is really cool and it fits sometimes 😭

On the topic of fanart, I apologize in advance for any Espresso and Latte fanart where they're a little... too close for comfort... It's so damn hard to find an Espresso and Latte fanart that's not them making out, and most of these oneshots are going to be with them as siblings back when they were still living with their parents. Like, headcanon whatever you want and ship whatever you want to ship (AS LONG AS IT'S NOT PROBLEMATIC!!!), I'm not judging. If you ship Latte x Espresso, that's perfectly fine—it's a cute ship and I respect it. I just personally see them as siblings 👍 Please don't attack me, I'm sorry if I offended you akshaksja 😭😭
