The Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. said:

"There is nothing like marriage, for the two who love one another."

(Sunan Ibn Majah)

"And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them, and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought."

(Surah Ar-Rum, 30:21)

Marriage in Islam is a sacred bond that should be built on mutual love, mercy, and understanding.

So Allah's Messenger () said, "O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty and whoever is not able to marry, should fast, as fasting diminishes his sexual power."
