Your beloved grandmother left you her properties, businesses, investments, mansions, money, and pretty much everything she owns, including the eleven cats she had.
The kid version of you would be screaming if she ever found out that your grandmother had cats seeing that your grandfather is allergic to cats.
But it was after your grandfather's death years ago that she started taking in cats. You couldn't blame her, probably for more than 40 years she wanted a cat but couldn't get one because of the allergy her husband had.
Besides, the cats come as a comfort to her after her loss.
It was sad to watch.
Now, three years after the death of your grandfather, your grandmother finally decided to follow him but it still baffles you how she singlehandedly took in ELEVEN CATS. bless her kind heart but isn't this too much?
One thing about your grandma is that she's rich RICH. she's drowning in so much money that each of her cats has a room in her mansion.
Honestly, you will not even be surprised if you ever get to know that the cats are richer than you because, at this point, it's possible.
"Goodness gracious, there's too many of you," you sighed as you looked at the cats scattered around the common area.
Satoru and Suguru were the first ones to get adopted. Your grandma intended for only one and that is Satoru. But when the staff at the pet store tried to take Satoru, Satoru wouldn't just go anywhere without Suguru. In the end, your grandma ended up taking both of them and she has no regrets in doing so.
Shoko was next, she was a stray cat that your grandmother found. Shoko had a gang of dogs ganging up on her and she clapped them, that's for sure. Your grandma happened to walk by and was so impressed with Shoko that she ended up taking her home.
Kento and Yu came together as a set. A friend of your grandma's died but requested in her will that her cats will be under your grandma's care. You couldn't blame your grandma's friend since the future of these cats is already guaranteed under your grandma's care.
But you didn't know the story of Yuuji and the others, all you know is that they were taken one year and a half ago. It's a shame that you didn't get to ask your grandmother about them, it had you regretting your decision to leave Japan to study.
Yes, you finally graduated and had a job but at what cost?
"Meow~" A white cat flopped onto your lap with his belly facing the ceiling, asking for attention and tummy scratches. It snapped you out of your thoughts.
"Well hello there, aren't you just so beautiful and magnificent?" You cooed as you gave him attention, his tail was swaying back and forth and his purrs were way too loud that they attracted the attention of all the others.
One by one, the others are now swarming you, demanding your attention.
Not only did you have a cat waiting for you back at home but now you are tasked to take care of eleven more. That's a total of twelve which isn't ideal for you.
'Good riddance, I can already sense these cats' chaotic energy.' Am I gonna survive this?
