Cassia took a deep breath and went back to the cabin, she noticed the girl was still in the same position she had left her in.

The second Cassia entered the room, Anna started shaking. What had these poltroons done to this girl?

"Anna..." she said and the girl immediately looked at her with fear in her eyes. Cassia decided she hated it. "You... you don't have to do anything. I was just testing you... I will release your people in an hour. They're close enough to the shore. They should make it back till first light."

The girl stayed quiet for a few moments then whispered "Why would you help me...?"

" I have no idea... I have this... eerie feeling that ... I don't know. It's almost as if I know you... I don't believe in fate or things like this. I believe we all make our own way through life. But maybe... you were supposed to cross paths with me. If it was anyone else, you would have been... hurt by now." she said and noticed how the girl flinched.

Rook showed up with the food, and Cassia had to move her maps away in order to make space on the desk/table.

"It's for you. You can eat." she gestured towards the bowl of fruits, and the fish soup. The girl took a tentative step forward and then looked down again. Cassia realized she forgot to set her free. She knew at this point that the girl would most likely not try to run, so she pulled out her knife and got behind her prisoner.

"Don't move, I don't wanna cut you.."

She sliced the ropes, then unconsciously rubbed the girl's wrists. They were cold. She realized it could have been either the adrenaline, the fear, or the actual temperature in the cabin that caused it, but she didn't want the girl to be cold. So without giving it a second thought, she took off her jacket and put it on the girl's shoulders.

"Eat," she said and nodded towards the food, forgetting for a moment that the girl can't see her.

Anna reached for the bread and took a few pieces. She ate only one of them and hid the other two in her sleeve. She was probably thinking that Cassia won't feed her anymore. Why was this girl making her feel like this? She knew her for about half an hour and yet she was ready to wrap her up with a warm blanket and make sure she never needs anything in life. This was getting way out of hand. She knew she couldn't get too attached to the girl, but at the same time, she couldn't stay too cold to her. Anna was already scared of her... Maybe she went too far with her words, promising she'd bed her and whatnot. Ashes. She definitely went too far. The girl told her she had almost gotten touched without her consent and the first thing Cassia did after hearing the story, was to ask if she'd undress for her? Stupid. Why did she even say that? She knew at this point that she wouldn't let the girl go. She should have stopped there, but no. She scared her even more. Great job. One for the books. Ashes... She should have kept her mouth shut. Truth is, this girl WAS beautiful, but Cassia didn't like her partners unwilling. She knew she'd never force her to do anything, but she didn't want the girl to know that. To her, Cassia was just a pirate captain - cold, unpredictable, unremorseful... Was that what she was? God, it's been so long since she acted like herself in front of someone. She noticed the girl stopped eating and started looking through the small window on her wall.
