Home. The place where we feel most comfortable, loved, and protected
Calum Woods, was washing dishes. It was a Sunday afternoon, and after an intense game of monopoly he and his brother were given the responsibility to wash the dishes.
Well, Calum was doing most of the work, because three year old Caleb could barely pick up a spoon without making a mess.
Seven year old Calum was proud of himself for being the richest person in the game. After finishing the last plate, he tried to wipe the soap off his brothers face, chuckling while trying to get it off.
Happy Together was playing lightly in the little soundbox that the Woods owned, and the parents were singing along while twirling their children around.
"We should put you two to bed before your mother starts dancing to footloose, it's too late for me, save yourselves!" Calum's father shouted making Calum run towards his room, trying to compete with his brother who was being walked by his father in a much slower pace.
The Woods children were put to bed, and Calum had slept peacefully like he always did.

Calum awoke with cold sweats, he could hear his laboured breathing.
Home. Something he could only dream of now.
