"Nicholas! Calum! How's it?" Harry came up to them, outside the schools, where they usually hung out before classes started.
Calum rolled his eyes and as usual kept his gaze down sketching away his half of the paper while Ramona was showcasing her artwork on the other side. "It's fine. Normal." Nick answered.
"Pleased for you, mate." Harry told him.
Nick nodded along while continuing the conversation, "So, uh, what's up?"
"Here to talk about the party, mate." Harry answered.
"Party?" Nick asked.
"My sixteenth birthday party." He reminded, "St. George's Hotel, this Saturday. You're going to be there, so are you Woods." Ramona took his airpod off his ear when she heard his name being called.
"What if I say no?" Calum asked without looking up.
Harry shrugs, "Diaz is coming too, she'll find a way to bring you, won't she?" He glanced at Ramona who had a joking glare on her face.
Imogen made her way to Nick, "You going to invite me?" She asked.
"Aren't you alre--" Ramona shushed Calum, "she's trying to do something, let her be." She whispered.
Nick moved aside, creating a little bit of space between them. "Um, only if you're cool enough, apparently."
"Sorry Imm, you're out." Calum joked. Making both Imogen and Ramona kick him together. "Ow, sorry..." He muttered as he kept cursing under his breath.
Nick chuckled, "fine... I guess... I can invite you, Imogen."
Her face brightened up instantly. "Yeah. Yeah, definitely."

The boys were now in the locker room, changing away for practice. Calum was sitting in the corner waiting for Nick and Charlie to finish so that they could leave. "I hear Tara Jones is going to be there."
"Mate, she is fit." someone commented.
"Nick is going to have his pick of two girls."
"Who's the other girl?"
"Imogen, obviously. Everybody knows she fancies him."
The boys kept talking about Nick as if he wasn't in the same room as them. Which seemed to agitate both Nick and Calum... well, everything agitated Calum.
"Hey, what?" Nick asked.
"Oh, um... Nothing. We're talking about Tara Jones. She's going to be at Harry's party."
"What about her?" Nick asked.
"Thought you might be interested, mate."
Calum quickly left the locker room, not wanting be any part of this conversation. Knowing they would say something disrespecting both Nick and the girls.

"Do you not own anything other than jumpers and sweatshirts?" Ramona asked as she searched through Calum's closet.
Nick and Calum were sitting on the latter's bed, the Woods boy caressing Nellie, not really paying attention to the girl who was adamant to dress the boys up. "No."
"Sweatshirts are so much better." Nick backed the boy up, nodding along.
Ramona who was dressed in a band t-shirt with jeans. "Where's the Savage Garden sweatshirt you got from some shady website?"
