Panic attacks
Ramona had made Calum read The Seagull, as she wanted to boy to critique her for her acting. It might come off as a shock, or not? But Calum was a good director. Or he would be a good director? He hadn't directed anything except for iMovies but none of that was good.
But he had knowledge about direction, he knew what worked and what didn't, in movies or in theatre. It also gave him a shit ton of insights on his paintings.
He was currently next to Nick, and Tara who was trying to not doze off. Calum was currently writing points down to tell Ramona later, he was alternating between drawing a picture and writing notes.
"I don't like the blocking too much to be honest." He whispered to Nick as he realised some of the actors were not at all visible.
Currently they were looking Trigorin's monologue, "they could have used levels better, and they haven't used a lot of props, Chekhov's gun is not working." He continued.
Nick turned to Calum with a look, "I didn't understand any of that, I think it looks fine."
"It looks fine, but it's rather monotonous don't you think? Look at Tara, she already dozed off on Darcy. The guy could stand up, move around, or use props to make it look interesting, gestures are key." He explained.
"You're too technical, just shut up and watch the play."
"Mean."
"Thanks." Nick grinned. He turned towards stage left when he saw the protagonist approaching, "Isn't that Harvey something, Ramona was telling us about?"
Calum looked and nodded, "Yeah, I think he was the only decent one."

"Your eyes will get lost behind your head if you roll them again." Christian whispered to Calum when he rolled his eyes yet again at Harry.
If you were hated by Calum, you would know.
Harry knew well enough that he got on Calum's nerve which is why he continued to annoy the boy.
"You're telling me none of brought girls? I mean, Nick brought Spring?"
"What am I made of? Air?" Ramona countered, trying to get attention out of Charlie as much as possible.
Yes. Nick had a tendency to ramble a lot around Calum and Ramona.
Harry shook his head, "you don't count. You will if you start dating Woods, or one of us."
Ramona scrunched her face with disgust, "I would rather pull my hair out individually than go out with you idiots."
Just then Nick entered the cinemas with Charlie, "Oi. Just look at him behind him. LIke a little girl." Harry commented, which made Ben and a few guys around him laugh.
Charlie already felt uncomfortable and out of place here. Calum couldn't blame him. The rugby boys certainly did not make a good environment to coexist in. "If you don't have nice things to say, really, shut the fuck up, Harry." Calum spat, but somehow maintained his calm voice he had around common people.
Nick was probably the only reason Calum stuck around. He would've punched one of them, or would have ignored their existence all together other than rugby matches.
Why did these idiots like the same thing or be in the same thing as Calum? Why couldn't they like something else and leave Calum alone?
Well, that was childish...
