CHAPTER - 8 Neil & Nick

"Hey, really, what's going on?" Nick

asked nervously. And he's a little

worried about his friends.

"Actually, Day is suspicious of people

embezzling money in his shop. Now,

it is quietly investigating this matter. I

think the arson might have something

to do with it too," Neil said in a strained

tone. He still didn't want to call Day

right now, although worried. Because

he knew his friends would be busy.

He is impatient but he can't go yet,

because tomorrow he has a really

important meeting. But it's still good to

know that Nan and Mac are going to

Day in the early morning.

"Really? Why didn't Brick tell me

anything?" Nick asked, surprised.

"Brick itself probably doesn't know

much yet. I'm going to go to the garage

to clean things up tomorrow. After that

we're going to see Day. I'm going to

prepare my clothes, so we don't waste

time." Neil reiterates. So Nick goes to

prepare clothes and puts them in his

bag. Tomorrow he will put the bags in

the car. So that they don't have to go

back home when all preparations are

complete. The two of them went to bed

together. Nick immediately snuggled

into Neil's chest

"I just realized something" Neil said

suddenly. Nick looked up at his lover.

"What?" Nick asked back.

"When you go to the pub with Brick

Why did you dance with other men?

You want to die, don't you?" Neil rolled

over and straddled Nick, Nick's eyes

grew slightly

"How do you know?" Nick asked.

"Day sent me a clip. I told you already.

right? Don't rhino too much, hmm."

Neil squeezed his lover's chin not too

hard

"I'm not an rhino. I was just dancing,

and he danced nearby." Nick rolled his

eyes in response

"Don't think I'll be kind to you, shorty,"

Neil said quietly. Nick grinned before

putting his arms around his lover's

neck

"If you don't want that, you should be

there to take care of me," Nick said

with a smile
